I own 5 manfrotto heads, 3 tripods and the modosteady. The heads and tripods are high quality and good value. The modosteady is an expensive well made yet totally worthless piece of equipment. I can get better shots using a monopod held with a light 2 finger grip on the foam just under the camera. The nonopod has many other uses while the modosteady could work as a fishing weight.

can a dslr work well on that. I saw one quick shot of a guy using a dslr on it.
