  • what color green is that?

  • While you were driving, one of the 'red' lights near the temperature gauge is on. What is it? Is it low fuel, high temp, what?

  • @Rlotpir1972 Its the seat belt light.

  • i'd put 40's on it instead of 50's, 40's are more aggressive.

  • sounds fucking excellent :)

  • thats a nice clean Torino growing up my friends parents had 1 like that but it was a yellow 4dr around the same year not sure what motor it had I love the flowmasters also I have 40series on my 98 Durango

  • Wow, that's really an amazing looking (and sounding!!) car. Love the look of them, particularly this color! Very nice car man!

  • beautiful car. this is the only ford that i would indeed drive. what do you have underneath, 428?

  • wow you ran over the camera lol nice video sweet car

  • Do you purchase this kind of cars through a website or something?

  • I found this car off of ebay. The second owners were trying to sell it. Every once in a while you will see cars show up here and there. Its just a matter on whether you are there at the right time and have the cash to fork over for it. The car currently has 46k miles on it.

  • @birus4ever

    Hey man, just curious..

When you purchased this car off ebay, how much did you pay for it? if you don't mind me asking.

  • man that sounds nice hell its loud for a 302 ....ahh not really if you have the right people working on it so yeah great job if you rebuilt it

  • whats he packing a 429 or what

  • nah, its a simple 302.

  • Sounds good. is that a 351M or 351C. Sounds like you have a stuck lifter or leaky header gasket...

  • sharp car. im not knocking you. but it sounds like your headers havent sealed or you have loose exhaust components. either that or a really bad engine tick. my dad had one with a 351 m when i was a kid it was mean.

  • oh yea no problem. i did have en exhaust leak out of the header. just had to tighten up the bolts other than that it still runs great. thanks for the comment.

  • those green torinos kick butt

  • looks like the differential is leaking, better check it out cuzzin'.

  • You're real lucky to have such a nice ride, I know I'm jealous

  • hey man thats a really nice torino, i got one this weekend exactly like yours, a 73 with a formal roof, only i havnt been able to start it up yet cuz it needs a new gas pump and it hasnt came in, so i cant really tell what kind of engine it has till i hear it and the previous owner wasnt to sure, he though it was a 302 or a 351. mine needs some work though, did u fix it all up or has it always been that nice?

  • Imma Chevy dude, but damn thats a clean ride bruh. Sounds beautiful!! i was thinking about running some Super 44's for my SS, but your 50 series Delta Flows sounds really nice. Thanks for sharin....

  • Thanks dude. For me, the main thing I was trying to do was to get a nice deep tone. I wasn't wanting anything too obnoxiously loud; just something that gave it a nice pur at idle. If I floor it you can hear it well which is what I did in the video taking off. I wanted something noticeable, but not ridiculous. If your looking for a louder sound at idle, then I would probably stick with the 40 series.

  • Fords are junk. However, I must admit, that's a beautiful car. Kudos, Birus4ever, kudos.

  • Thanks.

Go watch Gran Torino; I know I am.

  • dude i love the underview

    that was clever

  • a cop at 1:19?

  • yea, that just a neighbor cop that lives off the main road. i thought it would be funny to get a glimpse of him real quick.

  • ahhh, what a sound... music to my ears!

  • really sweet man my bro has a 1972 gran torino sport fastback wit a 302 i believe is the motor

  • what motor is that? a 351 windsor? or is it a cleveland? or a 302? do you know how to tell?

  • I'm not sure how to tell without popping the hood but I believe there are actually 6 or 7 different engine sizes released for this model Torino.

  • what was that knocking sound at the end of the video?

  • The knocking noise was the from the headers being loose

  • That is one beautiful FORD.

  • I agree. Thanks dude.

  • awesome

  • Very very nice!!
