thats a nice clean Torino growing up my friends parents had 1 like that but it was a yellow 4dr around the same year not sure what motor it had I love the flowmasters also I have 40series on my 98 Durango
I found this car off of ebay. The second owners were trying to sell it. Every once in a while you will see cars show up here and there. Its just a matter on whether you are there at the right time and have the cash to fork over for it. The car currently has 46k miles on it.
sharp car. im not knocking you. but it sounds like your headers havent sealed or you have loose exhaust components. either that or a really bad engine tick. my dad had one with a 351 m when i was a kid it was mean.
oh yea no problem. i did have en exhaust leak out of the header. just had to tighten up the bolts other than that it still runs great. thanks for the comment.
hey man thats a really nice torino, i got one this weekend exactly like yours, a 73 with a formal roof, only i havnt been able to start it up yet cuz it needs a new gas pump and it hasnt came in, so i cant really tell what kind of engine it has till i hear it and the previous owner wasnt to sure, he though it was a 302 or a 351. mine needs some work though, did u fix it all up or has it always been that nice?
Imma Chevy dude, but damn thats a clean ride bruh. Sounds beautiful!! i was thinking about running some Super 44's for my SS, but your 50 series Delta Flows sounds really nice. Thanks for sharin....
Thanks dude. For me, the main thing I was trying to do was to get a nice deep tone. I wasn't wanting anything too obnoxiously loud; just something that gave it a nice pur at idle. If I floor it you can hear it well which is what I did in the video taking off. I wanted something noticeable, but not ridiculous. If your looking for a louder sound at idle, then I would probably stick with the 40 series.
what color green is that?

While you were driving, one of the 'red' lights near the temperature gauge is on. What is it? Is it low fuel, high temp, what?
Rlotpir1972 11 months ago
@Rlotpir1972 Its the seat belt light.

i'd put 40's on it instead of 50's, 40's are more aggressive.

Sounds good. is that a 351M or 351C. Sounds like you have a stuck lifter or leaky header gasket...

somethingorother03 4 years ago
I'm not sure how to tell without popping the hood but I believe there are actually 6 or 7 different engine sizes released for this model Torino.

what was that knocking sound at the end of the video?
heysexy18 4 years ago
The knocking noise was the from the headers being loose
