The 8 comes restricted because of Emmissions laws, they have to send it out tuned very rich becasue of the oil injection system rotarys have mixing oil with the fuel. As soon as you tune the car and put just a cat back exhaust on the car wakes up tremendously and walks on Z's. Rotary Motors are loud so they also put on a severly restictive exhuast that prevents flames from shooting out.

@360nos it probably would of because the Z had a bad launch and may of not caught up in time, it would be very close though
