I'm wondering if this stitch workes as the same as the survival bracelets. Is there a way to just pull on one string and the whole bracelet comes apart to use in an emergency? I'm looking to make survival bracelets as christmas gifts for my scouts next week and I LOVE the design on this bracelet more then the traditional cobra stitch but it doesn't work if it's not able to come apart quickly and easily.
hey... this looks like it can be taken apart very easily and quickly! loose/cut the triangle tie-off (a form of diamond knot?), pull out the "marrow" from the opposite end, pull the slipknots straight, done.
I've been eagerly awaiting this video and now that its out im sad i couldn't figure this out on my own =) It's really simple but looks awesome. As always Thanks JD.
You could make a bracelet out of it by joining the two ropes and using a larks head on one side of the buckle at one end and looping both ropes through the other side of the buckle before you start the slipknots. Or at least that's works in my head. I'll have to try it this weekend.
I actually figured this one out on my own. Guess I've watched enough of your videos now lol. Great as always. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
Just wanted to say thanks for some awesome videos, ive been making my own paracord bracelets, knife lanyards, monkey fists, etc etc since i subbed you. Great stuff, and always look forward to another great video.
You could add another 2 strands through the center for the bracket ...at the end loop knot it.. Quite easy really ..so cool looking...looks like a pain to unravel in survival as well
My backbone bar has scoliosis... :(

Hey,

MSHdrummer18 11 months ago
@MSHdrummer18 - my local hardware store - it is 1/4 inch solid braid nylon rope.

I noticed the sound of a woman speaking in 2:56-3:04, and a man speaking at 3:05-3:06.

@zandermanandcassymom - They're speaking German; it’s a part of the song. I believe they're lines from a movie.

@masterdiverstx - Work off the base of the T-Virus Sinnet, move forward as a Backbone Bar, then finish off with an Overhand or Diamond Knot.
