  • My backbone bar has scoliosis... :(

  • I'm wondering if this stitch workes as the same as the survival bracelets. Is there a way to just pull on one string and the whole bracelet comes apart to use in an emergency? I'm looking to make survival bracelets as christmas gifts for my scouts next week and I LOVE the design on this bracelet more then the traditional cobra stitch but it doesn't work if it's not able to come apart quickly and easily.

  • @JWeldon123 TIAT does a video on a ripcord bracelet that pulls apart EXTREMELY fast.

  • U should make a vid on how to make a bracelet out of the backbone weave

  • I used this knot to finish a bookmark. It was really cool and the person loved it. Thank you so much.

  • Sorry to bother you JD, but how do I make this into a bracelet? I looked on facebook, like you said in another comment but I couldn't find it!

Thanks for your time, keep tying!

  • @McBlasian - No worries. Check out my facebook photos (step-by-step how to is found there).

  • @TyingItAllTogether Perfect! Thanks again! This seriously is one of the best YouTube accounts I've seen!

  • @TyingItAllTogether can you make it into a bracelet now?

  • @IpodFailx700 - Visit the "Tying It All Together" Facebook page - intsructions are there.

  • After you finish the bar what is the name of the knot you use to tie it off?

  • I like your channel. It's easy to follow, you help people in the comments. More channels need to be like yours.

  • is it possible to make a bracelet out of this bar, if so how?

  • i think i did mine to tight ..it looks like crap

  • Can you make a bracelet out of the back bone bar ?

  • Hey,

where do you get the "rope" for tying the knots like the bloody knuckle, etc?

  • @MSHdrummer18 - my local hardware store - it is 1/4 inch solid braid nylon rope.

  • @TyingItAllTogether thanks man, your vids are awesome!

  • the shape of the slipknots is very important. not just left/right, but which loops are how tight...

  • Nice bar!Always love and trying to make all that you show us!!Thank you once again!!!!!

  • hey... this looks like it can be taken apart very easily and quickly! loose/cut the triangle tie-off (a form of diamond knot?), pull out the "marrow" from the opposite end, pull the slipknots straight, done.

  • I noticed the sound of a woman speaking in 2:56-3:04, and a man speaking at 3:05-3:06.

  • @zandermanandcassymom - They're speaking German; it’s a part of the song. I believe they're lines from a movie.

  • I've been eagerly awaiting this video and now that its out im sad i couldn't figure this out on my own =) It's really simple but looks awesome. As always Thanks JD.

  • You could make a bracelet out of it by joining the two ropes and using a larks head on one side of the buckle at one end and looping both ropes through the other side of the buckle before you start the slipknots. Or at least that's works in my head. I'll have to try it this weekend.

  • @bobpoptart it worked for me... i had the same thought to make it into a bracelet

  • I actually figured this one out on my own. Guess I've watched enough of your videos now lol. Great as always. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.

  • That's a very interesting and unusual bar. Well done. Now I just need to figure out how to make a bracelet out of it. ;)

  • Every time I pull out the paracord, my wife always says, "Oh I see JD must have a new video out." Haha

Another great video and thanks for my new hobby. LoL

  • @heytshirtguy Hahaha, same here :D

    JD thanks indeed!

  • how long did the bar end up being

  • @paintballhead03 - It's only a demo length... Still it was 4 inches long after tie off, snip and singe.

  • i love your videos :) there easy to follow and i get to learn cool new knots. :)

  • Just wanted to say thanks for some awesome videos, ive been making my own paracord bracelets, knife lanyards, monkey fists, etc etc since i subbed you. Great stuff, and always look forward to another great video.

  • so whats the point of this? how is this useful?

  • @ADMIND3R those are ornamental knots: you can use them for bracelets, belts, necklaces, bag labels and whatever your imagination suggests :)

  • You could add another 2 strands through the center for the bracket ...at the end loop knot it.. Quite easy really ..so cool looking...looks like a pain to unravel in survival as well

  • Nice! But, how can you make that bar into a bracelet?

  • @masterdiverstx - Work off the base of the T-Virus Sinnet, move forward as a Backbone Bar, then finish off with an Overhand or Diamond Knot.
