  • You hit me; Picard never hit me

    I'm not Picard . . . GET OFF MY SPACE STATION, Q!

  • Well, it was supposed to be Brutal. Q said it himself. Why is he so surprised? :P

  • Sisko took that shot to the face like he didn't give one shit.

  • LOL, Q challenges him to a boxing match, but is totally surprised when he gets a punch to the faceXD

  • this video just shows why TNG>DS9

  • And this is why Sisko is the best Starfleet captain. He punches omnipotent God-equivalents in the face when they piss him off.

  • @Dafeaz Thats also why he is gonna die first.

  • He's right, Picard just kept taking it. Of course, it was because he was just that together, and yet Sisko didn't seem like a screaming maniac, either. It was more of a "Fine. You wanted me to hit you, I hit you. Now you're on the floor. I enjoyed that, and I'd do it again." And I'd waited years to see it.

  • Sisko knocked the shit out of 6 people.

  • That was a great scene. I always liked Q. I thought he was funny. Thanks for posting this

  • Discord! :D

  • "I'm not Picard!"

One of the greatest lines ever spoken in all of 'Star Trek.'

  • Ponies brought me here

  • Picard and Janeway indulged Q and had to deal with him repeatedly. Sisko bitchslapped him once, and was never bothered by him again. Coincidence?

  • @MrSinister1979 Q said Sisko is easier to provoke, so no point visiting him again is there? Picard is more of a challenge, hence the many visits. And the Enterprise is much more worthy of a visit than DS9.

  • @masere I Agree completley. I think Q was troubled by Picard because john luc was actually the bigger person in the matter

  • @Trenchman97 But this shows that not all star fleet officers are cut from the same cloth. It gives a newer/human feel to the show. A way for the watchers to grow attached to the character more so then the other captains. =-)

  • @Trenchman97 Also, TNG was about the human drive to explore, learn, and adapt to new situations that human kind has never seen; the better side, more kinder side of humanity. Yet this show "DS9" is more of a tale of redemption, and rebuilding. Defense, pride, survival in the eyes of trying times. This show took a darker path, yet kept true to many aspects of TNG. Therefore it should never be placed as "less then" anything my friend. =-)

  • @MrInfidelicLord I understand your point. Picard is still my favorite in my opinion though. I guess Ive never seen DS9 enough to understand what it is. Isnt it about a war with the dominion or something?

  • @Trenchman97 The War with the Dominion didn't start till the later seasons. The first season was mostly about Sisko's hate of Picard; for the death of his at Wolf 359. I think that the scene where the two captains meet is a scene i'll never forget. You should check it out. The show then turned into an uneasy yet exciting religious war with the near by planet bayjor. You should watch it. A lot of the episodes from TNG are continued in DS9. They go hand and hand.

  • kirk vs sisko, now that would be a good fight to watch

  • Picard can beat up Sisko

  • @Gordontrek No, Picard would try to find a diplomatic solution to a fist fight.

  • @Gordontrek *Reads Comment* *Rolls Eyes* I have nothing against Picard, but Sisko would make Picard his bitch in less time than what we saw here!

  • @RegBeta plus the fact that picard was the one who was controlling the borg cube that killed Sisko's wife would give him a motive, possibly

  • Sisko should never have been added to Star Trek. Picard was the only real character in Roddenberry's sense. He was the best character after Kirk. He shows how humans evolved morally in 200 years. To show a postmodern survivalist in just 10 years of the saga time, is ridiculous.

  • @mrteemumilto Those of us who prefer our art to deconstruct any so-called utopian future wholeheartedly disagree with you. The point of Sisko is that Picard is NOT the norm of society, and we need to sometimes be reminded that in the end, we cannot get too full of ourselves and "how far we've come".

  • Comment removed

  • @mrteemumilto To be honest, Roddenberry really wasn't actually involved with Star Trek after the middle of the third season. He was credited as executive producer, but all he really did was advise. I'd be willing to bet he'd not have green-lighted the Borg who could not be reasoned with. The post-R staff was free to explore a less lighthearted, optimistic version of the future where sometimes you had to make hard choices and right choice isn't the moral one (In The Pale Moonlight).

  • @mrteemumilto No, no, no. That was to show how tough Picard really was. Picard was more of a chess-master to Kirk's fencer so to speak, and got a lot of flack for not being hands-on and physical. His bout with the Borg was meant to show that Picard was not at all soft. Sisko didn't have that luxury. He was all that stood between the Dominion and the Alpha Quadrant. He didn't get to warping to a starbase for reinforcements. DS9 was the starbase. They were the reinforcements.

  • @Linuxgeek3124 I thought you were supporting me in saying that DS9 wasn't Roddenberry's canon. Now you apologetize it.

  • @mrteemumilto My apologies for any confusion. I misquoted. That should have said I was agreeing with Dajbman22. You can't fault Sisko for his actions or attitude. Picard is the explorer portion of Starfleet while Sisko is the militaristic portion. He thinks like the captain of a warship (and the Defiant shows that he can build one), while Picard thinks like an explorer and a diplomat. As for Roddenberry's canon, I've never subscribed to that. Trek is Trek. DS9 is my favorite Trek.

  • @mrteemumilto I must agree with Dajbman22. Picard was was an excellent character, but he was an idealist and his posting as a captain of an exploration ship showed that. Sisko is the juxtaposition of Picard. He's in command of an outpost near the boarder of two hostile nations and light years away from Federation back up. He does what must be done for the survival of mankind. TNG showed how far we've come, and DS9 showed how far we could be pushed. The Siege of AR-558 said it best.

  • "How fortunate for me." Last words you ever want to hear Q say to you.

  • That look on Captain Sisko's face after he punched Q purely said, "I just fucking punched an Omnipotent being, motherfucker."

  • Comment removed

  • Causing chaos and discord throughout the galaxy.

    YES I DID.

  • yes, you are not Picard, you aren't even half as good.

  • I never knew Q was in DS9 :D

  • @Archer5869 Sadly.....only once

  • I want Q's beard :))

  • lol love sisko's What? at 0:26

  • I never noticed Q had such a glorious moustache.

  • An omnipotent unimaginably powerful Q doesn't even phase Sisko with punches to the face. The prophets sure picked a winner.

  • Thumbs up if you think Q deserved to be in more episodes of DS9

  • @horaciosi i think Q decided that getting punched in the gut and face once was enough for him so he decided to go back to picard then jainway

  • Love Siskos "What!?" you can just hear the huge amounts of WTF XD

  • SMACK!

Q: You hit me! Picard never hit me.

    Sisko: Im not picard.

  • I came here for the ponies, then stayed because TNG is a pretty fucking awesome show.

  • @vnom84 i came to hate those annoying bronies too oh well

  • @vnom84 Tis a shame this was from DS9, not TNG :P

  • @ChadAlmasy

Well, Ive only made it through half of TNG season 1 so far.

  • @lagkat40 Well, no, but that's not the point. The point is that it's a rather silly and spammy thing to post on a Star Trek vid. I don't post Star Trek comments on pony videos, nor on mr. Bean or Golden Girls videos. Likewise, I don't see much reason why a Star Trek video should be posted full of My Little Pony comments, regardless of my personal opinion of that show.

  • @Blackadder125 You realize that it's only because the actor who plays as Q voiced the villain of MLP's Season 2 premier right ?

  • @Doomy23 So I've heard, yes.

  • @lagkat40 You mean the silly comments about freakin' My Little Pony? I removed them, of course.

  • I love the Saxton Hale mustache XD.

  • There are some pretty angry people out there. It's sad when people get bent out of shape over a fictional universe and write disparaging things about fictional characters. Yes...fictional.

  • Q said picard never hit me but he never hit picard.

  • WHAT?! XD

  • Anyone think that last bit was incredibly foreboding? Much easier to provoke, so now he's gonna pull some more Q shenanigans.....

  • I think that makes Sisko closer to Kirk than Picard was.

  • @bpfoley89 No duh, in Trials and Tribbil-ations he practically breaks time travel protocol to see him, just to say how much he admires the man. Awesome episode by the way.

  • I am not Picard....im Sisko, bitch!!!!!!

  • JEAN LUKE IS MUCH BETTER

  • LOL i think if i sisko i would have laughing much to hard to have hit Q back! seriously, the moustache is ridiculous!

  • HOLY CRAP! Q IN DS9???? I really need to consider watching some more of those episodes....

  • @nobodyitellyou Do, I've seen a few episodes of the series, it's REALLY good.

  • "Im prepared to be defeated now Sisko! Fire when ready!"

  • @WotanKrieger You do know modern humans originally evolved in Africa, right? Or does this vacuous miasma of carnality engender too grievous a myopia to be cognizant of reality?

  • @WotanKrieger Your views are illogical; you offer nothing to justify them. You can't ratiocinate properly. You spew hypocrisy. I can only conclude that this is either a ruse, or you are insane.

  • @WotanKrieger If all you can attack is my German, then you, evidently, have a very lacking argument for your views.

  • Comment removed

  • @WotanKrieger

    Fick dich you faggot, lol

  • @WotanKrieger Ich habe Deutsch nur für ein Jahr gelernt. :P Genetic diversification actually strengthens our species by decreasing the chances for flawed genes to be expressed.

  • @WotanKrieger Du bist blöd. Es tut mir leid für dich.

  • @WotanKrieger

oooo, lol, you called me a nigger lover, nice comeback you fucking Jew hating Nazi piece of shit. That's right, I do love blacks and I'm proud of it. I love them all day, haha. And so do your cocksucking German women.

  • dat Q-stache

  • @WotanKrieger

who the fuck are you, the boyfriend that sucks matrix49A's dick every night? and what the fuck does obama have to do with anything? that shit was random as hell, like your fucking intelligence, lol.

You might as well have blurted out, "Seals don't find good deals on Friday."

  • q looks like a older james ramar

  • Gotta love Q. He's a wacky son of a bitch!

  • it would seem that Q just got Qwned

  • Q's moustache is SO fake

  • Love Sisko's face after decking Q. he's all WHAT NAO BIATCH?

  • Sisco just went Gansta on Q's omnipotent ass!

  • @matrix49A

that chimp you speak of was a university professor for over 30 years, performed on stage as a baritone singer, has been in movies, and starred in one of the most iconic tv series of all time. What have YOU done, you racist little hater? It sucks right? A black guy who has accomplished 100 times more than you, a white American, ever will. lol, what a broken down loser you are. No wonder you hate on him.

  • @AlexBrasil123123 haha He's a fool. so are you troll-boy paper-mache star ships and BS leftwing crap, get a life monkeyboy he's some liberal jew-whiteboy's pet. Negro boy get's off shoving white man around. He's an insect compared to the Q character monkey-boy.....

  • @matrix49A

you haven't answered my question. what have YOU done?? so far all you have done is confirm the fact that you are just a racist hater. you bring up politics now by calling me "leftwing"? lol, for a person who watches star trek, your mind is pretty saturated with antiquated ignorance and racism. people who waste time arguing over political parties and views are mindless, brainwashed fools that don't realize that BOTH parties are corrupt and both don't give a shit about you or me.

  • @matrix49A

umm.....ok. wow, you really are a blithering idiot. I can't believe I wasted my time with a person who obviously has shit for brains

  • Haha...

Q punches Sisko like five times and Sisko just looks at him like "Really...." *POW

  • Bring Back Star Trek ! Any Star Trek!

    Just Do a Series Again.

We are Bored with all the SHIT on Tv!!!

  • Sisko is a Redguard... Of course hes not Picard, Picard is an Imperial... Silly Q '~'

  • @PuppetierMaster More like breton then imperial..bretons have anglo-french names

  • @666MIHI Hey, he was Tiber Septim remember?

  • @PuppetierMaster So I take it Sisko leveled up his unarmed skill?

  • "Your Face!" ~Sisko

  • That is one epic handlebar mustache, Q.

  • always bet on black

  • "You're much easier to provoke, how fortunate for me!" I use that line often.

  • 0:52 LOLOLOLOLOL :D

  • This is the only episode where Q appears in DS9, right?

  • @ccseries Yes. :)

  • 0:53 His expression says "Don't fuck with the Sisko" :D

  • Q is the ultimate troll

  • LMAO Q is SO random!

  • 1:02 Shrek? oO

  • Comment removed

  • And the universe is deafened by innumerable species suddenly exploding with cheers. Who says sound can't travel through space?

Up next, Sisko vs. The Master. Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen!

  • DisQord is Tzeentch's son or something, I swear...

  • And BTW it is wrong that I find Q sexy?

  • @ohsnapitsme59 Only if your a man.

  • The creepy thing about Q is that he has this baby face that can look so innocent. And yet, look at his face when he says "All gone". Just menacing with power.

  • Q is right, picard understood the game, but this guy is a dumbo that Q can pick apart

  • @yakinani Dumbo? Are you for real? Just because Sisko responded differently doesn't mean he's dumb... it just means he handles things differently. How would you respond after you've been punched in the face more than once? Q never hit Picard. Have you seen the entire series? Omnipotent or not, Q NEVER comes back to bother Sisko either.

  • @numobudo Mainly because Sisko was TOTALLY uncompelling as a foil for Q. Picard was not.

  • @TaintedMustard I wouldn't say that....but you wouldn't get the same dynamic at all, no. Picard would go along with it and try to outwit Q, whereas Sisko's just like "I have neither the time nor the patience for this shit. *FALCON PUNCH*"

  • @psychicllamakiller Well, the dynamic with Picard had much less to do with him trying to outwit Q than it did with Picard staying true to his principles in the face of Q's influence. Q is objectively superior in intellect and physical ability; outwitting him is futile and hitting him is a pointless display of machismo. A man losing his temper and punching someone is not compelling.

    That's not to say I dislike Sisko; I just don't think he's a good foil for Q.

  • @TaintedMustard Fair enough, I was just saying Picard's the debating type and Sisko's more the "get-the-fuck-out-of-my-way-I-have-a-war-to-win-and-lives-to-save" type.

I'm probably just a little biased because DS9 is the only Star Trek series i like: I couldn't stand the other four XD

  • @TaintedMustard that may be true, and I respect your opinion, but consider that Q is like a curious kid poking at something to see what happens. In this case he got a rather quick reaction and realized that Sisko was not willing to play along. To say he was TOTALLY uncompelling is dismissive and I'm not sure that's right. @psychicllamakiller says a lot of what I would say so I won't be redundant and repeat it.

  • @numobudo It's kinda like comparing what Kirk would do in a similar situation. Obviously Picard never hit Q because that wasn't the guy he was. However, if Q was pestering Kirk like that, he would've bashed his brains after the first punch. I think Kirk and Sisko are very similar in that regard. I still take Kirk any day of the week though.

  • @TJSerabian I agree with you. Keeping in mind that this is fiction and someone wrote the script, I think it was of way of introducing the Q character, who had been in the other series, and then getting getting him out of the story line because there really was no need for him. I get annoyed when people try to portray or imply that Sisko is some kind of impulsive dolt with no principles or reasoning abilities and that Picard is better or smarter. Starfleet captains won't be the same.

  • @numobudo The reason the episode was made was to get TNG fans who hadn't already started watching the DS9 to come on over and give it a shot. How successful it was depends largely on how many fans stuck around.

  • @TJSerabian Understandable, Sisko is a man's Man. Kirk is a man's Man's MAN. He kinda beats him in that regard..

  • @numobudo Once you get a taste of Sisko's motherfucking pimp hand you stay the hell away. Hell Borg only attacked earth again because he was on the otherside of the Galaxy during the movie.

  • @numobudo

Only an idiot would attack an omnipotent being. Especially considering that Sisko knew Qs history as claiming to be a judge of humanity threatening to destroy us for our barbarity. Way to go Sisko you could have got the entire human race wiped out with your primitive and barbaric response to Q's taunting.

Sisko is a moron and every episode of DS9 proves it even further.

Of course I guess its technically the writers that are the morons.

  • Q makes everything better.... Even My Little Pony.

  • Twilight Sparkle hit him with a rainbow.

  • was this ds9? and if so what ep?

  • what episode is this?? dont think i have seen it :(

  • @unknowna2 This episode is called Q-less. Vash is in it as well.

  • Q always gets the best dialogue in Star Trek. "Fight back this is supposed to be brutal!" Class.

  • "You hit me! Picard never hit me!" *pout* is that cute or am i just weird like that?

  • "Take a poke at me! I know that's what you really want to do!"

Just because he's black, you assume he can't wait to physically assault someone.

    ..God I love Q. Lol.

  • i like krik hit q too.

  • Ahh Sisko, when he's not punching omnipotent beings, using bioweapons on unarmed population or orchestrating the assassination of foreign officials, he spends his time perfecting Cajun cooking. I always liked him more than Picard

  • What I love about Q/Discord is that seeing as how Q is an omnipotent being, he actually does have the power to transform into Discord and enter another reality (MLP).

So, it's really Q the whole time. Even on a different show.

  • @ZKY2

    There's no stopping him. Damn.

  • @ZKY2

This better NOT be about that pony shit.

  • @AisuSeijin It is. umad?

  • @thickterranarmor

    More like disappointed. Fucking furries.

  • @AisuSeijin We're actually working on a means to weed out the furfags. We tried running a hot wire through blood samples, but then I realized I had mixed up furries with the Thing.

  • @ZKY2 Mind = Blown

  • @ZKY2 Well you know what? Fuck MLP.

  • @ZKY2 Who's Discord?

  • @therealonethistime He's the bad guy from the season 2 premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Like Q, he's a reality warper and he's played by John DeLancie. They also have similar personalities, so it's really no wonder why fans say they're the same person.

  • @CrazyKitty789 How can you compare anything from DS9 to My Little Pony? A part of me just died.

  • @therealonethistime Well, you asked.

  • @therealonethistime My little pony's a lot better than you'd think....and you did ask him. xD

  • Sisko: Bring them back Q, NOW!

Q: Or what? You'll ravish me?

    Sisko: I might...

    Q: Picard never ravished me...

    Sisko: I'm not Picard.

  • (0:26) I love Sisko's "What?"

  • press 3 (epic girly what) ; press 7 (epic face)

  • Comment removed

  • lol at that mustache...

  • Vash is so hot. How did Picard let her slip away!

  • Maybe Sisko finally saw Q as the person / entity responsible for introducing the Borg to the Alpha Quadrant ( & leading to the battle of Wolf 359 w / his wife was killed ) & took out a little of his frustration, etc., on him.

  • 0:25 sisko becomes a stereotype.

  • How wonderfully contradicting that an entity meant to be infinitely superior to humanity, was thought up by the people behind Star Trek who are themselves human.

  • Humans became immune to his trolling

So he went off to troll ponies
