  • I see nothing wrong with this, fuck people are scared these days. Go watch Nutnfancy's "Depussification" it pertains to you scared ass, self righteous fools. I find it odd how some people will fight to have their very rights taken away... boggles the mind. Forget the fear mongers, asmiths32. long live the shooting sports!

  • wish my ole pops would have taught me at that age

  • That was the age my parents taught me about guns. It’s apparent you taught him safe handling of a firearm. “he don’t miss” I love that part. :o)

  • Ok add .357 shells and see if he misses haha

  • I hate how people are all down on parents for teaching children about guns. If they dont teach them, and they have guns in the house, then the child (crafty little people I know because I used to be one), will figure out how to get a hold of that gun and it wont go well. Particularly if the ammo is WITH the gun. So I say have at it and teach children all about guns and safety in particular. And PS fuck trolls.

  • @idotman12 Yes trolls are annoying.

  • @idotman12 agreed, the best safety for a gun is knowledge.

  • @idotman12 your right

  • @idotman12 Maybe the best solution would be not to have a firearm in the house at all?. don’t get me wrong I used to be, and still am a keen gun enthusiast, despite the UK’s big downer on guns.

I have just relinquished ownership of two shot guns and a 22 rim fire, due mainly to lack of opportunity to shoot, but also I’v a kid on the way, I would Never teach a 10 Year old to shoot just as I wouldn’t try to teach him/her to drive, sorry just my opinion.

  • @rizzathecat Well I taught my son how to drive also. He drives the lawnmower. He is twelve now. He has been helping me with yard work, driving the lawnmower, for the last three years. I'm sorry you don't trust in your son's ability. AAANNNNNDDDDDDD, not only can he drive and shoot.... he is also a Beta club member.

  • This is RESPONSIBLE PARENTING! The boy has obviously been well taught ... notice the finger kept OFF THE TRIGGER until ready-to-shoot, etc.

  • in america everyone knows how to shoot

  • "law enforcement" code for wannabe. own it dude. were you a deputy sheriff, sworn municipal officer, security guard, mall cop, military police, why be so vague, do you think you will lose your job or what.

I see so many claims of being ex military or law enforcement that it makes the flags go up.

If I were going to qualify a statement by saying I was something that makes me sound like I am in the know, I would say exactly what I did, maybe not where.

I think there are a ton of phonies lately!

  • teach your son to shoot a double action pistol in da mode! he'll thank you later.

  • I have worked in law enforcement so know a thing or two about guns. I have seen far too many children like the exact one in your video with life-threatening injuries doing exactly what your kid is doing. You should thank me for my comment and please don't take it personally. I won't go into all the things that can go wrong. I feel a responsibility to post what I posted. God Bless America and this great nation.

  • @zabezabe Thanks for clarifying but don't ask me to not take it personally when you call me irresponsible....ok. I'm really very glad you're not a gun control nut. Sorry I called you a troll. Usually we just plink with .22s but sometimes I let him shoot the 586 with .38s.

  • it's all gun and games until someone gets hurts

    irresponsible parent

  • @zabezabe How can you possibly call this a game? How am I an irresponsible parent if I'm at the range educating my kid about guns? At least he is not playing grand theft auto. I'm thinking you believe as soon as a kid learns about guns he's gonna shoot somebody. I'm also wondering why I'm giving you my time instead of just deleting you with the rest. One more thing....Have you ever shot a gun and did it scare you? I bet it did. Don't be so judgemental and try not being a troll.

  • @asmiths32 I agree with you completely. I am fourteen years old and i have learned about firearms and firearm safety for most of my life. I have completed firearm safety classes in my state and i have to say, i feel much safer around firearms and i am glad i was taught about them. Too many youngsters are "learning" about guns in games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty. God bless you and in my opinion, good parenting on your part for teaching you kid about firearms.

  • nice shot! someone has mentored this boy well.

  • youll shoot your eye out!

  • i have three kids under 3 1/2 two girls and one boy. when they get old enough i'll be teaching them all about the goodness of firearms! i will also get my two baby girls nice 380 pocket pistols with their names engraved on it! daddy don't play games :)

  • nice shootin

  • cool video but terrible quality

  • sorry about the terrible quality. try reducing your video size to about a quarter the size you're watching. if that don't help, don't watch it. i don't invest in the best cameras.

  • asmiths32,

If that's your boy, tell him I said nice shootin! Why do so many other posts ignore the contents and use it as a forum for other crap? Great to see a kid learning to be a good shot.

  • @roadraven02 The anti-gun lobby hate the idea that a new generation of responsible firearm owners are going to be there to keep fighting for our liberties. I salute all common-sense parents who carefully train their kids in strict discipline. 5*'s!!!

  • Ah man. My dad has a 586 .357 as well, wish he would have let me shot it at that age!

  • He shooting .357 or .38?

  • .38's

  • ahhh! The great American tradition! Nice shootin!

  • how is shooting a giun an american tradition?

If it was, the U.S army would spend a lot more time investing in a better assault rifle than the m4 carbine. It's too weak to knock a terrorist insurgent off his feet, and the charging handle's kind of awkward to use. They should use TAR-21's.

I have no problem with america, i just think that gun-wise they're a little too proud.

  • the M4 and TAR-21 are both chambered 5.56x45mm NATO....and the same or less muzzle velocity depending on barrel length. Do you own stock in Israel Weapon Industries Ltd.?

  • TAR-21 is chambered for 5.56x45 NATO?

Thought it was a slightly bigger bullet.

Nah, i don't have any firearms, i just know a bit about them, Proper gun safety, Range, windage, ect.

I live in the U.K, so no firearms for me...hoping to visit a rifle range soon, start off with a .508 rifle, Maybe IF I'M LUCKY They'll have an old Mosin-nagant knocking about, i'd love to fire one.

  • The parliament doesn't trust their subjects with guns. A great british tradition. I don't think our idiot legislatures will be as bold. If they ever are so bold my kids know just how far one must take self defense. parliament hasn't thought self defense is even a valid reason to own a gun since 1937. I find that offensive. But hey when seconds count the police will be there in a minute.

Those who hammer their guns into plows, will plow for those who do not."

    Thomas Jefferson

  • yeah, it's just pathetic. I was thinking of moving to america once, buy a flat, buy a glock, Forget everything else. That would be sweet.

  • So really, you know absolutely nothing about firearms. "I've never owned or shot a gun, but here's my informed opinion about them."

  • the us army uses the m-16 and the marines use the m4. the army is therefore smarter ;]

  • dont forget,he is 10 years old only!!!

  • Ahhhhh. How could I forget? I sit down at the table often and eat some tasty meat he provided because he is a great shot with a rifle also.

  • He is too close to miss.

  • Again. Build confidence then move out. If you start at 75 feet with a 4 inch barrel most people will miss. That does not build confidence.

  • Criança manejando arma e atirando ... Mais que barbaridade.

  • he don't miss with two hands now try 25 meters with 1 hand

  • Build confidence then move out. If you start at 75 feet with a 4 inch barrel most people will miss. That does not build confidence.
