Hello all..been off youtube for awhile...zeus is now 3 1/2 years old and has grown into those ears nicely...all my friends are always commenting on his package to...lol...to the haters ...zeus was in the back of our truck and me and the wife went to a picnic area to eat and unleashed dogs at park are illegal...i put him on the tree 15 min tops and as you can tell he was fine

That is a beautiful dog. Just the way they are supposed to be , beautiful colour, markings, and the right build. Also his hind quarters are perfect and look normal. Lovely dog.

I have a 2 year old German Shepherd that looks exactly like Zeus and my aunt has one also. I did some research and I think that the breeders were trying to breed out the angulation in their back and hips and while doing so they made them extremely tall and skinny. They angulation causes problems with their balance and is counter-productive when herding. If you look up Euopean German Shephards- working lines, they look very similar to Zeus.

Hi m8, any idea what Zeus weighed at 10 months? even a rough guess would do.you said he is 92 lbs now. my boy is 10 months now and is 60 lbs.

I remember taking him to the local petsmart around that time to weigh him regurally and it seems he weighed in around 56-62 pounds at that time so everything sounds right on the money

Thanx m8, that gives me roughly some idear of how big my GS will be in 7 months time,i hope so anyway. i was told my boy wouldn't be very big as he was the runt but he has come such a long way i feel he will be about 90 lb fully grown.

I have found that high quality food makes all the difference.. I alternate between EVO large bites and Taste of the Wild ..it is expensive but 3 weeks after you put the dog on it you will see why and i have known many runts that turn out to be the most beautiful and largest dogs of the liter

yeah he has gotten bigger and thax for the replies..Zeus weighs in at 92 lbs and is 27 inches at the highest point of the shoulders..I am going to post a new video soon now that youtube handles high quality videos better. I feel this video made him look taller/stretched because it reformated a hd video to low quality

Wow 92 lbs! he's a big lad. my Gs is 10 months old now and he's 24 inch at the shoulder and he weighs 60 lbs, but he was the runt. i sure hope my boy reaches 92lbs. my gs looks chunkier than yours at 10 months. can you remember what Zeus weighed at 10 months?

Hey...my pup is 8 months and 67lbs...does this generally mean that he will be very large when he is fully grown, considering that Zeus is HUGE now and weighed around 60lbs when he was 10 months? Or do some dogs grow faster initially and then slow down? Ps-- my pup retains a very lean appearance at his current weight, so he is big, not over-fed...thanks a lot

Thanks, I recorded with a HD camera in widescreen format, but when youtube reformated the video it made him look to tall and skinny as compared to the original video
