does anyone know how to use the Poke codes? i made a code for all badges as a test and when i enter it in and press A it says the code was entered so i start my game yet i didnt get all the badges. ive tried several codes and non worked.

Help. I click on the Caught Pokedex. I save but the pokemon are not in my PC or bag. The games says I have them but I can not access them. HELP. I lost the instruction book. I do you retrieve the Pokemon. The game crashed my game and I do not want to start all over.

The "caught pokedex" thing is only supposed to add the Pokemon to your pokedex, it doesn't actually GIVE them to you. If you want a particular Pokemon, catch a Hoothoot or something, put it in your party, then turn it into the Pokemon you want with the "edit Pokemon" thing.

I don't know what i did but i entered codes for pokemon silver and every time i win a battle(trainer or wild) a whole bunch of pokemon i don't even own all named ? start evolving!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!? p.s. if anyone knows how to fix it please tell me.

chikobokrisp, if your colorizer doesn't work something may be wrong with your MonsterBrain. It does work, but you gotta configure most of the colors yourself and it doesn't look as impressive as the manual makes it sound lol.

Oh actually there is one question that i had.

I was curious if you could use this cheat device just to backup the gamefile itself without using cheats.

Or will it only allow you to backup the file after using cheats by some type of default?

It is a separate option, so no, you do not need to use cheats. You can back the file up without using any cheating whatsoever. :)

Im still pissed off about losing all my data.

70 hours of work.... Managed to get 94 pokemon so i was almost done with the Pokedex and i managed to just freshly get Mew,Mewtwo and the three legendary birds to level 100 with really good "IV stat" values from proteins and all that.

So much freakin work down the drain. I was praying that they had made something like Monster brain when this happened. Well after i smashed my disconnecting Transfer pak up against the wall into 5 pieces. lol

I'd highly suggest picking up a Monster Brain, I got mine dirt cheap off ebay and it backs up not only Pokemon games but I was able to back up my other gameboy game save files, like Zelda Link's Awakening and Megaman.

Ah yeah i just purchased one a couple days ago just waiting for it to come in.

To my great surprise i found something even cheaper then the monster brain though on ebay.

The monster Brain i was able to get for $1.95 and shipping,but i also found something in my searches called a "Mega Memory card" for Gameboy. I ordered two of them and 1 Monster brain for my cheat saves.

I haven't got the Monster Brain yet,but the Mega Memory cards i tested and they work great!

They only cost $0.25 cents!

Yeah I actually purchased a Mega Memory card for gameboy and even though it arrived new and sealed, it didn't even work! At all.. I tried it on 3 different consoles, too. Anyway I emailed the seller and they wrote back like 2 weeks later saying they'd exchange it but I had to ship the defective one back and had to pay to have it shipped back.. so I just said screw it lol.

It didn't work whatsoever, like at the Gameboy main logo, the "Nintendo" logo underneath that always shows up when play a game was kinda pixel-ish and messed up looking (u know what I mean, the way it looks if a cartridge you put in is dirty or old). And that's all it ever did.

Ah i understand what you mean now. Did you try cleaning the contacts and blowing in the game a couple times and retrying?

I just figure since your stuck with the Mega Memory card now maybe might be worth messing around with to get lucky to make it work for ya.

I used it on my GBA SP if that helps. The same way the person in this video used the Monster Brain on the SP so the cartridge does bulge out on the back a bit with a slight tilt outward. (Guessing it wasn't meant for SP)

Yeah, I tried everything :( And I tried it on my GBA SP, an original Gameboy Color and the SNES Super Gameboy. I'd play around with it a bit more but I think I actually ended up chucking it, haha.

Just a few days ago i was playing the game on the Pokemon Stadium Gameboy tower and i lost ALL my data in the middle of a save.

You know how sometimes the transfer pak likes to disconnect in the middle of the game at random times because nintendo decided to make cheap shitty transfer paks that easily disconnect? Should of made it like the Super Gameboy or GameBoy player for GC instead of making us hook it up to the controller. Also allowing only 1 save per game doesn't help.

@Squall7766 I think that's what happened with my yellow game. It deleted on me for some reason. but it could be because of the battery dying. but after it died, my new save file is still there. strange...
