Thank you for posting this. I was looking into Enso, but no anymore. It's bad enough to be scared to try a product that doesn't work, but to add the possibility of not getting the product is even worse. This is why some ( like myself) just still with their tried and true companies. Honestly, If I try a new company I go through Curlmart because I trust them, hate shipping cost but I know I'll get my stuff.
@artchick07 it is frustrating dealing with some of these starter companies. some people really liked enso and most didn't, then there was this ethical issue about the owner, so i ended up selling and giving away all of their stuff that i bought. i like curlmart too, i order from vendors a lot and try and give lil side companies a chance when i want to take the risk

I had BAD customer service wt Lucky Girl Boutique. She claims she shipped it but the tracking # never said anything past notification. I emailed her and she claims "someone" died in her fam. but she would get it out after. I asked for a refund, since she couldn't fulfill the order. She claims she would ship it. Then she still didn't ship it and I filed a claim w/t Pay Pal, she finally shipped it out. Great stuff but it took a month. I did neg. feedback and she harrassed me, so I iged her.
I watched this last night but I feel you on this. this is why I make my on hair products and buy natural hair products from Walgreens, Target, BSS. Because if someone mess with my money I will probaly be on the next thing smoking looking to hurt someone, lol.
Gurl yes I 100% agree with you about Luckygirl Boutique. I contacted the lady multiple times via personal e-mail. Then I contacted her through her Etsy store and she gave me the bogus tracking . I ordered my stuff on a Sat. night and the money was immediately taken out and I received my order three weeks after that. I was TRULY pissed off!. I sent her numerous e-mails and did everything but go to N.Y. and get my money back. And the conditioner wasn't as great and the smell make me nauseous.

I've been trying to use up the stuff I know will spoil soon before I get to those new ones in the fridge. I think by mid September I will have a video out about it but when I tried it on my kitchen, nape area, it was very light.

One time I orderd from her (after several satisfied purchases) and I didn't get my order within the usual time. I emailed her and few days went by with no response and I filed a complaint through Paypal. She responded within 48 hrs stating that somehow she didn't see my order and sent me and extra produtct with my order and refunded my shipping cost. The Spilled Milk is very light and runny though
Same thing happened with Ohm. Apparently, their old website was not getting messages to the owner and then there was problems with shipping/courier. I did get my product - my box was opened and something added, a month later. People on the forums said they weren't getting responses back after product inquiries(all with the old site) and it was the website - the only way I could contacting her. If I would not have inquired in a timely fashion I would have lost my money.
They are ok now but - I can't do it anymore. I think some was their fault and some was things out of their control because they were not aware. Also, I think their courier was shady, but the Sweet Hair Pudding stopped working for me so I haven't looked back and I love Qhemet and they are consistently good. So, I feel you!
@MissCherie02 Oh and I don't know if it still works for me though, I've been afraid to use it because I can't get anymore, it's always sold out. Yeah I'm so happy I can get Qhemets on the ground now. They are one of my top companies. I wish these companies would release statements no matter what the issue is to keep their customers informed.
@tastiredbone I agree with you 100% and it is crazy because we spend a lot of money for hair products and it wouldn't be that big of a deal losing a few dollars but when you have placed a $50 or $70 order you are like were my products. I am so glad you did this video :)

What I find..odd is that there are no ripoff reports, attorney general complaints, consumer complaints, pissedoff consumer complaints, IFCC reports, BBB reports filed on any of these companies to date from what I can tell. If MTM, for example, is truly a habitual scam artist...I'm surprised that those "hundreds" (I keep hearing this number for some reason on the forums) of people that still don't have their merchandise or money haven't collectively filed a suit against her.
I've adopted the policy of waiting and seeing too. I think the companies get a positve review and get overwhelmed with orders and the quality goes down...especially the starter companies. But on the other had most of the problems have to do with consistenty and communication. These are the basics if you're deciding to start a company. I think too many are so quick to get off the ground thinking about the money until they get in deep and folks start complaining

With this economy, start ups should take notice. I sent some book suggestions on customer service & marketing for a new "start up" because I felt the owner deserved a chance to recover from their "glitches."
The Boundless Tresses, I purchased twice from them in 2008 no problems. BUT when I found out their ingredients, I made my own and it works better. All it is is Olive Oil, coconut oil, and MSM Sulphur powder. I add Amla oil. Works great.
@DivaLady2b Yeah I tried Bee Mine instead and I didn't care for it so I didn't bother with BT. Some people are having issues with them and their customer service right now so even if I think about ordering from them it will be in the very far far far future, lol.

@Mllascelles1 Thanks hun. I just get so mad when ppl get away with screwing other ppl over, it just pisses me off. It's a very greasy issue, lol, but I hope these companies get their act together soon. There is only so much consumers will take and I know I don't put up with foolishness

With this economy, start ups should take notice. I sent some book suggestions on customer service & marketing for a new "start up" because I felt the owner deserved a chance to recover from their "glitches."

The Boundless Tresses, I purchased twice from them in 2008 no problems. BUT when I found out their ingredients, I made my own and it works better. All it is is Olive Oil, coconut oil, and MSM Sulphur powder. I add Amla oil. Works great.

@DivaLady2b Yeah I tried Bee Mine instead and I didn't care for it so I didn't bother with BT. Some people are having issues with them and their customer service right now so even if I think about ordering from them it will be in the very far far far future, lol.
