I was very impressed with these guys, sounded great, unlike SoM who sounded like ass, was quite the let down i must say. I dont know how SoM managed to screw up what is normally a great sound system at the national but vocals were way low and their record player was way loud; oh and no smoke machine no show???? Anyway Hypernova put on a great but short show, good job.

sisters of mercy are awesome why would u go if u hate sisters of mercy? cuz they didn't say anything about hypernova they said that it was a special guest

Oh I do love me some SOM, but that show was just plain awful, maybe I was expecting too much, for 85% of their set it sounded like pure ass, and then to shut it down because the fire marshal told them no more smoke machine (not stop the show as they claimed on stage) was just the final suck.

Hypernova's set seemed to get cut short at The National - I arrived at 9:15 for a 9:00 show, and by 9:20 Hypernova was wrapping their set! Why were they pushed off so fast? And if Andrew Eldritch wasn't so concerned about people seeing his aging mug he could have shut down the smoke machine, finished his set, and gave people their money's worth. These days Andrew looks like Matt Pinfield wearing Corey Hart's sunglasses. Andrew is only in it for the money these days. I feel bad for Hypernova.

The tour manager asked them to cut their list short that night. From 45 minutes to 30. They in fact went on 5 minutes early at 8:55, and were wrapping up their set by 9:24. Solely on their choice.. They could have played one more song.

The smoke detectors didn't go off until The Sisters of Mercy's set because the fog machines weren't used until then.

I was there last night!To see the Sisters of Mercy, THEY ROCKED! and you guys did too! I'd love to come to another of your concerts. Is that "Dominion" playing in the background? Anyway the show did get cancelled 'cause of smoke detectors, WHICH SUCKED!

Hey I talked to that guy on the right (Raam)last night during the Sisters set - I would say they reminded me of Interpol more or less?
