i still have two of the scorpions just sitiing around collecting dust i have the jeep an the hummer , to be reall they run on a 12v batt an they are mad strong for a walmart trucks, they still run they have like no damage on them an i have 4 batt for them lol mite keep them or give them away
he there. i'm trying to get a few of these to help my kids get into RC cars. they are 3 and 5. if you got two collecting dust i'll send you a few bucks to box them up and get them out of the way. --
@MrFelixify no low gear...... i dont eevn think hes got the diffs locked. ive climed stairs with my summit once ha i dont think ill be able to do it again but its possible! this guy obviously doesnt know how to qork the summit.
@ToppervisionEnt5:19 left wheel spinning, right is not... now I'm no expert, but the summit would definately be moving at that point if it was locked and had traction... not trying to start a fight, just pointing it out.
@TomDonson Oh yes, RC4WD is great. I will stop by there again. Ironically I got adapters from them for the Nylint crawler. I have two of the Nylints and one of them has big mudslingers on it. The Nylints were originally sold at Wal-Mart for about $150 about 5 or 6 years ago. They are built solid! Both of mine still run strong. I'll make more videos with those two and the Summit this winter.
@ToppervisionEnt Hey bud, Axialracing has some pretty nice wheel sets that fit Summit real nice and they are bead locks so no more glue lol. They are about $38 a pair though....just in case if you were still looking for wheels for it
Oh damn ok....just saw the other vid where you were running around the yard with the Summit...and did the pull-off at the end...nice...I figured the Scorp would hold up pretty well...Good stuff Bud
Yup definitely a clearance issue for the Scorp those solid axles just hang up on debris. But I really like the body on the scorp though. Ever do a pull test against those two? The scorp seems like it has a crap ton of torque.
@jaymzedge1 Yea, Scorpion is very strong. My kids can ride it! Summit is stronger but a little lighter. Summit wins the tug-o-war. I've got another Scorpion with bigger tires on it. Haven't tried the crawling with that one yet.
That is a sweet video, do u think there is any chance i could lower the gear on an e revo to make it climb like the summit, they both have the same shocks so i didnt know...
@TheChris1696 Can you lock the diffs on the Revo? That's a must. As for gears, get the higest ratio they offer and give it a try. Usually pretty cheap. Your right, need low gear for climbing control.
The nylight sucks I have the summit and it's a beast

Well, Scorpion seems to be much crawler for the money, but the Summit owns. You must try mamba monster or Tekin. Brushless summit owns!

@RedSpecial18 Diffs are locked, it is in low gear. Watch the wheels closer. This guy does know how to work the Summit.

@123881100 Cost will be less than $50 if you can find one. Try Ebay but they are long out of production.

11wakeboard 1 year ago
@11wakeboard I agree, I sure want mud tires on it. Do you happen to know an aftermarket wheel and tire combo that will fit the Summit?
