I've never played SSB64 but I have played melee and brawl. And if you haven't played melee. it's much more fast paced than brawl.

@mmkiki5 That doesn't make sense. SSBB was an amazing seller, and it still is. There's no reason not to stock it except a general grudge against Nintendo (which I've seen some stores do).

@Overhazard Absolutely NOTHIN. If u ask me, only games u can get in this country are from internet - can be downloaded. Others like SSBB or PBR cant be downloaded, only buyed.

You know, you can cancel Yoshi's Egg roll by pressing Up B. I didn't even know that until my sister showed me, which is strange.

Wouldn't that trigger an Egg Toss? Doesn't matter anyway, since people rarely block the Egg Roll.

No. It just stops the Egg roll and allows you to do whatever you want after that.

I'd like to think the real fluke is that I always seem to have to fight Funkymunky in the first round and I'm unable to take him seriously enough for some reason.

Why, because he has "FUNKY" written over his character all the time? I know I can't deal with facing Funkymunky because of the lag.

It's just statistics...I don't normally see you go far in these tournaments, then you shot up to the finals all of a sudden.

I usually don't bring up the lag, because he gives me hell if I cite it as a source of difficulty on my part...hopefully he won't have seen me mention it even now. :X

I think both of us were surprised that I kept on losing anyway. Our practices ran to a different tune, but we agreed that we just wanted to practice instead of having our matches just then for this particular tournament. Oh well.

With Yoshi, try jumping backwards (short hopping) and using the back air. It's a VERY good way to approach the opponent.
