I wasn't 'dissing' our work. Dave Mills and I recorded this version specifically for the advert. The Sony guys from Japan wanted to use the Joey Ramone version but they wanted an exhorbitant amount of money for it so we did it on the cheap. We used a digital studio in a bedroom for all instruments and my vocals. We've recorded a full length version since because of positive feedback on the net but what with copyright etc. we haven't released it yet. We might do eventually though. Ian.

It's by me (Ian Wilson - vocals) and my friend David Mills (all instruments). We only recorded 30 seconds of the song just for this advert (basically ripping off Joey Ramone's version on instruction by Suzuki who didn't want to stump up a lot of money for the rights).

I don't believe you! The pro musicians who made that great bit of TV music wouldn't dis there own work on the web. This track would have been made in a pro studio and cost a lot of money. It sounds nothing like the Ramones version - just because its rock a sound!
