How to WINDOWS 7 + Serato ITCH + NS7

Hey bro i bought ns7 and when i am running the software serato itch i get a weird sound the. The music stops and continues and it gets crazy like if it was moving by it self i use a getaway 32bit with a 64 coal dual ram with 3GB ram memory should i do this steps ? Please bro

@xDATBOiiFRESHx Make sure you have the latest firmware, drivers and program installed. This will solve the majority of issues. Recalibration may be necessary too.

@ThatKidZane yes you also have to install the 64 bit firmware version and drivers from Numark before installing ITCH.

yes u can go to playback devices by clcking with the right button of ur mouse on the volume icon on the bottom right of the screen , then choose speakers/ headphones and check em as default devices and there u go, if u want ns7 speakers just select the ns7 as the default sound device... hope that was helpfull

Just got the Samsung RF-710 64 bit with i7 quadcore, 650 GB HD, 4 GB ram, 2 USB 3.0, and 2 USB 2.0, Video is 1 GB of VRAM with NVIDIA GeForce 330M Dedicated Graphics. Got it with the intent to run VDJ and Itch for video. So far so good, but am having difficulty with VDJ. The speed seems way off. Any suggestions for that? Any other suggestions otherwise? Thksagain! U R a huge help to all of us!

@johnbundy3000 youcan go to virtual dj's site and download the plug in for that controller by djesco1 (me) this should be of help to you and fix the issues. be sure to follow the directions i the readme.

Hardware between mac and Pc are the same (except for the key dongles found in mac) the reall diffrence is in the software. some swaer by mac (old school producers etc) however times have changed. so its really up to you.

The trick is relatively simple Make sure you have ITCH 1.7.1 or later installed and the latest firmware (this is found on a tab in the installation menu) Do this before installing VDJ7. Then go to the VirtualDj website and download the mapper and instructions I have made found in the controllers download section.

yo esco i got a dell inspirion 64 bit wit win 7-i went on the serato forum n did all that they posted up to do n i still have hiccups when im n a set-the audio drops out n my laptop frezez up,do u have any tips or a solution for this prob.anything will help

Yes definately.

1st do a full uninstall fo itch and if it shows under programs the numark driver

2nd reboot

3rd run the installer for the latest 1.7 public beta

it will have an option to update firmware (make sure you select it durring the install process)

4 Complete the install.

5 (optional reboot)

6 Enjoy!!!!

ajutama please. I switched from Windows XP to windows7 on, have a leptop with a good configuration .. and can not use my ns7.! I did all steps you said, and I happen next .. programu while running after a few seconds and turns off the midi that red dot is blocked roads programu then yes aces. and after few seconds repeat again. the red and so does consaola ledu .. please ajutama urgent response.

I loaded ITCH and the drivers on Win7. After that just right click on ITCH>>>properties>>>>compatibl­ity and set ITCH to run in xp mode. WAaaaay easier.

well i figured it out. this method did not work for me but here is what did work for me.

uninstall itch and ns7 drivers

reboot

install itch with ns7 powered on and plugged in to laptop DO NOT REBOOT!!

install ns7 64 bit drivers...it will install sucessfully.

reboot and have fun.

hopefully this will help people like me that are running windows 7 64 bit

You may want to check your rating by going to "Start, then right click on my computer, select properties, select rate this computer, let it run the tests, the higher the number the better anything equal or higher than 5 select a latency of 2-6 (default seems to be 10) this should improve your performance.

default after install is 10 with 60 for screen refresh (being set at the highest) I am going to try to bring down the latency see if it will take without having any adverse effects.
