The C39's are not retired...I work for NS they come in to Norfolk fairly regular..usually as the second or third locomotive in the consist. It seems that railfans are enamored with widecabs and the like.....you just have to look a little deeper.
Thank you, Chase! I have to admit that these are my all-time favorite horns, this one was absolute perfection. It definitely defined the "Classic Norfolk Southern" horn sound!!! :)

Nice!! I seen plenty of catfish that have these sounding horns. I might put one of them up later today, and plus my other site has plenty.
