  • this documentary seems recent until you remember it is 12 years old :O!!!

  • @blackbeltjoe And you're proud of that? Proud that your units kill civilians?

And Britain fair enough... nope, couldn't even hold a straight face, you're entirely wrong, Britain has a massive stake and influence in the world economically, that's why we maintain an army, besides security, because we want to protect BRITISH interests, of which are plentiful.

  • @blackbeltjoe 34 Weeks of training and the hardest selection of standard infantry in the world are inferior to 12 weeks of being yelled at for dealing under pressure?

Sorry, don't get me wrong, I respect the USMC, they're a fine fighting unit, but you're acting plain stupid, stop with the apologetics and blatant nationalism.

  • @blackbeltjoe Facts:

The Soviets died out on their own, a battle of attrition that the US simply out-resourced, don't be proud of that nonsense.

We did invent English, and German-Jewish scientists and many other foreign scientists layed the foundations for and made the atomic bomb, a collaborative achievement, not yours.

    Last one, don't even know.

  • lol 0:28 look in the background

  • training is split into 6 sections over 32 weeks. Foundation, Individual skills, advanced skills, Operations of War, Commando Courses, and the Kings Squad Pass out Week

  • the US Marines were CRUCIAL to the victory in Iraq, they had the largest and most dangerous AO - the Sunni triangle.

The British on the other hand retreated from Basrah and left the southern sector wide open in 2007. You did nothing of valuable reference to either of our wars. Since we gave you Helmand in 04 you managed to loose over half of it before our 2010 intervention.

  • This Troop is well known in the Corps. When they passed out they were called Hollywood Troop by everyone else. I'll let you work out why!

  • people keep saying the 30 commando's that surrendered at the falklands where cowards, let me put it this way:

1: The royals had no intelligence of the attack by the argies.

2: They where greatly out numbered by the thousands.

3: They had no back-up and had no orders from the millitary.

and even if they didnt sureneder what could they have done? they would have been found and excuted, they where not even sure if the british where going to send a task force to retake it so shove it.

  • @TheGunner1324 They fought until they ran out of ammo, they didn't surrender by choice but were forced into it.

  • What you're seeing here is the tip of the iceberg, this is what they're prepared to show the camera and what has been allowed to be released. But think what service the training team are providing here, they're physically and mentally changing people and the way they live their lives and will forever live their lives.

  • if theyve been told to polish their boots and clean their gun why dont they do it they must be mentialy challenged cause it takes 10mins rather than having to do all that exra work at the beasting

  • I fucking love the Royal Marines

  • Honestly, the people(and I hate to say this) in this video are wrong so to speak. They says they don't want recruits dropping out. I wouldn't mind if they did. That means they can't handle stress. And if they can't handle it at Training then they can't take it combat. I'd rather have 20 well trained, mentally tough people than have 200 mass produced guys that were handheld through. Cause when you mass produce Marines, the standards drop and men die.

  • @OutdoorzBoys The video is from the late 1990s, back then the British armed forces had a massive struggle with military recruitment and retention as unemployment was so low back in Britain back then, so of course they should have been worried if the quality of many recruits was so low. Unlike the U.S. Marines which have over 100k men, the RM only have about 7k men and have one of the hardest infantry courses in the world. The good thing is, they never lowered the standards..

  • @ThrexyX

US Marines have 40,000 Infantry, 4,000 recon and 7.000 SF MARSOC Marines....on the other hand the 7,000 royals are not even SF...I dont even get their purpose.

It takes 30wks to become a basic US Marine rifleman

  • those plastic water bottles the british forces use give fluid a horrible plastic taste. It's almost sickeing. They need to get ones with taste free plastic

  • Comment removed

  • 3:43...30wks of this shit doesnt even equal 13 wks at Parris Island

  • @Sturmmann Shut the fuck up

  • @Sturmmann Why? Because he's not yelling like a stereotypical USMC DI in a Full Metal Jacket fashion?

Contrary to what you may believe, that doesn't actually work. The British armed forces used to do that years ago, but adopted a more reasonable/direct approach as it's been shown to produce better results. The RMC training is famous because it's physically rigourous, not because the training instructors like to scream the place down.

  • @ThrexyX

royal marines also have a drop on request system...meaning 75% leave because they cant deal with the bullshit anymore.

The only way you can leave USMC bootcamp is if you break yourself or die...and we've had far more deaths and cases of abuse in US Marine training than RMs will ever have...Why? because train people to storm the beaches of Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal....take Fallujah..Marjah, Sangin, Musa Qala...not to surrender to no fucking argentinians

  • @Sturmmann The 32 weeks training to join the Royal Marines is only basic training, if they want to specialise in the SBS they have to take an even longer and more rigorous selection programme after a length of time in service, details regarding training and numbers which the public do not even know about. They can specialise as Military Police, and into more advanced infantry specialisms (mountain troop, etc).

  • @ThrexyX The USMC Bootcamp is only 14 weeks, four weeks of which is drill, but of course people going into the infantry will get advanced infantry training on top of basic training. Regular British Army infantrymen train for 28 weeks, the Paras train a few weeks longer.

As for surrending to Argentinians, I confess, I've not read much on the Falklands War. Which incident is that?

  • @ThrexyX

    USMC bootcamp is 13 wks

USMC infantry trng is another 3 months.

An RM is an infantryman that trained for 32 wks

A USM infantryman trains for 30wks minus actual unit trng.

The RM Corps doesnt get funding for anything higher than light infantry purposes.

US Marines are elite heavy infantry...shock troops.

That explains why we got the hottest areas of ops in iraq and afghan

  • @Sturmmann No the reason why you get all the hot areas in afganistan is because you have 90,000 + troops there while we have 9500 so it makes more sense for you to take over the hot areas due to you having more troops deployed there, also look up royal marine torture training and the so called pain barrier, Im joining the royal marines this year as a officer and i know for a fact the american marines are no match for royal marines i have friends in the UMSC and they agree.

  • @maizematt

The USMC is busy fighting a war...not spending 2 years on training.

They deployed about 20-29,000 to Afghan recently after wrapping up Iraq.

The British troops made absolutely no positive impacts on OIF, the US Marines did. USMC always gets the worst sectors and now theyve taken over Helmand from the British...why? Because in 4 yrs you lost 40% of the province and were falling back

Theyre busy fighting and winning wars while youre busy bragging about training.

  • @Sturmmann sure that had nothing to to do with the taliban resurgency during that period just that it was the brits fault...Sure... If the british were they also managede to do what they did with a third of the resources than the USMC brang with them so all in all not a bad job

  • @Sturmmann Sending CHILDREN to war is wrong putting a gun in there hands after 3 months training and saying go fight is wrong, and we dont have 20,000 marines to deploy we have 10,000 full time royal marines if we had 250,000 royal marines, What would Afghanistan look like today

  • Comment removed

  • theres boobs on 4:28 to4:40 look behide him

  • i thought they train for 32 weeks not 30

  • I have SO MUCH respect for these guys, even though I will be joining the U.S. Marines as an Officer. I will gladly fight with the Royal Marines anyday.

  • The U.S infront of U.S Marines is far more important to me because it is my country but i respect the royal marines a shitload. The U.S AND U.K are allies so its all good U.S Marines AND Royal Marines Kick ass together both are elite

  • all that training and they got him guarding a sub. LOL not worth all that.

  • in all honesty this isnt that bad not the training cuz i bet its hard as fuck but the instructor yelling. It honestly wasnt bad he wasnt belittling them he wasnt screaming at the top of his lungs he is just trying to instill some pride in taking care of your shit. he gets props from this US soldier

  • For some reason the sergeant didn't really pay much attention to the inappropriate pictures on the wall during room inspection. Even as Air Cadets our officers are far more strict on such forbidden items. For us, you'd technically get in deep shit if by chance you're EVER caught with such things.

  • my dad trained at lymstone and he said the hardest thing he ever did was the mud run...with old fashioned instructors shouting banter at him....what fun!

  • when the instructer or teacher recieves his new batch they keep them tight for 1 or 2 days

  • It's kind of weird to think some of these guys could be in the SAS or SBS now

  • was this video made in 1970's?

  • @fslzzz no 1999-2000 actually

  • the guy looks like michael mcintyre/ gd prog tho

  • I wish my moustache looked that epic when I grew one.

  • Instructors aren't cruel. They're hard on recruits becuase they need to refine the very very best to keep the standards as high as they are. That's what makes a royal marines fucking commando!

  • Day 1 of training...that's about as far as I would get. My upmost respect to these warriors.

  • Training will make strong and able soldiers who live.

  • What is that guy talking about, of course beasting should happen, if they take away the level of training and discipline they are going to start getting unworthy soldiers. The marines is not meant to be easy.

  • This Training is top notch (Coming from an american) respect!

  • the dude with the mustache looks like captain price from modern warfare

  • You cant water down units like the Royal Marines,Para's ect, the toughness of the training is what molds these soldiers (or Marines) and makes them so Elite,if you do it takes the shine away and makes them no different from any other infantry Regiment,

The Only way is the hard way ,will Taliban fighters brought up in the heat and rough terrain of Afghanistan be lowering thier standards ?

  • 8:50 Problem? Problem? Problem? Haha, class.

  • i wish our troops we'rnt being sent to war to wipe out Israels enemies, i wish they'd fight their own bloody wars. fuck israel and fuck the jewish government we have.

  • the only way IS the Hard Way!

  • i was in the marines once.....best time of my life 1st sarah and then her sister clare marine

i would only join the military if they encouraged sex with a 50/50 male female staff and didnt just feed u high fatty foods.as for the dick measuring on this comments section taking a life except in personal self defence is evil and nasty.if we could only fight wars like when train with special equipment and blanks in case of alien but winner wins despite minor casualties due to accidents or ban

  • I wish this Srgt was my dad........ he's class like!

  • did the drowning happen on the sheep dip?

  • I was a sniper in the U.S.M.C., though i never had the honor of training with any Royal Marines, i did run into a fire team of the crazy fuckers at a bar in jacksonville florida. Being a Marine myself, just sharing the name is an honor, but drinking with the these dudes was a fucking blast. No different from American Marines, and just as fuckin hard. Two other Marines and I sat with these guys, shared stories, laughed our asses off and drank ourselfs stupid. Much respect to my brothers in arms.

  • @dirtygrunt0311 Good to hear. I hate all the "our Marines are better than yours" shit that goes on with these videos. UK and US are equally good.

  • I hate it when CoD herms's argue on YouTube about shit they've never done in their lives! May I ask how many of you have ever served in the military???

  • I'm joining the royal marines next year :) cant fucking wait !!! Wish me luck nd good luck to anyone else who is looking forward to a future career in the military :)

  • @EllisFitz1995 Good luck to you mate I wan't to join soon aswell and be a proud member of the Royal MArines

  • @EllisFitz1995 good luck man from a future us marine

  • @TheAngelofvengance nice one mate ;)

  • @EllisFitz1995 Good luck mate! yeah after my A-levels im applying, ive neen training for this since as long as i can remember, best wishes to you!

  • @EllisFitz1995 You have literally written this on 97% of Royal Marines videos on youtube

  • @EllisFitz1995 I wish that you to war and come back with no legs.

  • @TheRirimja you dis gusting basturd

  • @TheRirimja My uncle had his arm blown off so shut the fuck up and never say anything like that again

  • @EllisFitz1995 Me too, just got to finish exams :D

  • @999duhast Jesus christ, you obviously know nothing. Royal marines are NOT Special forces. Cannot beileve you actually think they are!? Do you even know what Special Forces are? I have a mate who's 17 and apllying for Marines. You can't just sign up for 'Special Forces' with no combat experience. Fucking idiot, get back to school and learn to spell too.

  • @999duhast ''Royal Marines are special forces'' ... you're joking right, where on earth did you hear that? RM's are not SF, just elite soldiers, same as Para's. Even Royal Marine Commando's aren't SF, they're like the equivilent of PARA 1/SFSG.

  • @moorevayne quite alot of the troops get backtrooped, i know that on commando on the front line, 9 out of the 50 passed out as originals, where as 25 from the original troop eventually passed out, some were injured and some just needed more instruction at various tasks and were backtroopered

  • only a handful of these 50 odd recruits made it...but does that mean the rest FAILED or just got backtracked and eventually passed?

  • @Volcomnosie _ Now i have wasted 5 minutes of my life replying to your stupid comment - just because you got dumped by some American doesnt mean you can try to stupidly generalize all Americans - people like you dont even deserve to talk about America - America is what you want it to be - immigrants from all countries (good or bad) come here and some are bad and MANY are GOOD. So dont send me a stupid email trying to characterize the most diverse country in the world.

  • @3Mattster mate no brit wants to be American .. never have never will

  • start training 6th of june, going to be mega

  • @JedNZ People like you in the world help me to realize that yes..there are really stupid and retarded people out there who hate others for no reason - you retards are practically terrorists but the only difference is that they are not internet warriors like your retarded self and they actually do stuff in their life - just take your retarded and stupid way of thinking and shove it - or how about you actually do something with your pathetic life

  • @3Mattster Citizens of the US are shit

  • Guys for all you America Haters - Say all this crap to our faces - for all you British haters - i have one question for you - I am American also - but i respect the british military because they are tough and have proven that they can handle well under most situations - Our military has also proven without a doubt that we can handle ourselves - Many of you think that the RM is better than the USMC - well let me be the 1st to say - the best way to find out is war - and who really wants that>?

  • @3Mattster i do and me and my pals purposely start a fight with any yanky cunt we come across. As soon as that accent hits my ears drums it reminds me of somthing. Something that involves you gung ho trigger happy screw ups fucking up as they usually do and our mate who can no longer drink with us. Your army hasn't proven shit you brainwashed pile of shit yas cant even win the respect of any bugga in this world let alone your allies. Jog on dipshit

  • The fact you can die of exaustion in RMC training shows how respectful they are.

  • correctional PT i love that phrase:P

  • 1 Question... DO they allow nude Poster in the Room Where they sleep..?

    Coz ive seen a few..

  • @AnimeGod1995 Well since you dont get much pussy in war, i guess so?

  • @AnimeGod1995 woow cool... and bad...

  • i would give my life to fight next to american RESPECT TO ALL TROOPS

  • Why are all the comments here about the fecking USMC?

    Great video

  • @TheARMAProductions I always find it funny when internet hardmen use terms like civvies.

  • @TheARMAProductions whats the toughest thing YOU did as a royal marine?? I respect them its you civilians that dont know crap.

  • @TheARMAProductions again with the 32 weeks is that all ya talk about, usmc does 12 basic, 4-12 depending on your mos plus 2 weeks or up to a year 1/2 on mos training. usmc basic training is known for compresing the training within an amount of time. basic is physically hard but its mostly mental once you hit mct or soi thats where it gets even more physical.

  • @TheARMAProductions yeah RM training is hard they have to deal with their posters and comfortable racks, nice instructors, must be difficult... pffff

  • seeyounextfall - nice one mate thats the way i feel about american troops im a royal marine and wud happily fight alongside a united states marine, Britain and america are two sides of the same coin =) kickin taliban ass since 2001 XD

  • LOL @ 00:25

There is a half naked girl in the background and beside it is some orgy stuff.... That's the motivation of the Royal Marines!!!! THE COMMANDOS IN BED hahaha! Cheers mate!! ;p

  • there all marines and great fighters

  • is dere a new batch of marine commando coming 2 bootcamp every month? or is it once a year?

  • @ECCappo At 1:47 it says "every fortnight..." so every two weeks.

  • @bestcod4plaer ohhhh thanks =]]]...i applied like a month ago so ya dats why i wanted 2 know...thanks bro

  • If anyone has any doubt about the ability of the Royal Marines, just read about what they did in the Falklands totally outnumbered. They fought unbelievably well against impossible odds.

  • It makes me laugh when USMC say our training staff are easy. Shows how stupid they actually are, see when cameras are on our staff they usually are nicer to encourage more people to join. But in reality, look at this doc, its as close as you'll get to what the training staff are actually like, and even then its toned down.

  • I like the different names the Brits use for equipment and what not. To them, your gear is your "kit" a rucksack is a "bergen" a march is a "tab" a flashlight is a "torch' and disciplinary PT is a "beasting." Also, to give someone a hard time is a "slagging" and when Royal Marines party and drink they "get on the piss"...LOL! I think all those names and terms are really cool. God bless the Royal Marines and all the British people as our faithful allies.

  • @superhornet69

A march in the RMC is a yomp Oppo. but I get your point

    Tab is Para slang

    Happy Crimbo

  • 3:31 its captain price!

  • United States Marine here.(0311, Rifleman) I worked very closely with the Brits in Afghanistan. Top notch blokes, the lot of them. Extremely professional, hard working, in-shape, and motivated . I enjoyed every minute I spent along side them. I had no problem what-so-ever having my life in their hands, and I believe they felt the same way about me and my guys. If I ever got the chance to work with them again I would LOVE to do so.

Nothing but respect for the Royal Marines.

  • 6:07 t 6:12 I love that :D

  • @nacarckeckia: Bloody hell, that was a shocker!

  • damn they got some nice rooms......

what we got here is more like a concentration camp

    with footlockers lol

  • when he said corporal to the sgt, i was like "oooh"

  • its actually 32 weeks now

  • @sevenoneight7

This film was made in 1999 so perhaps it has changed since then...

  • @wellard56 Oh, it probably has... didn't realise it was that old

  • Is it just me or dose the guy who's adressing the problem of people leaving look a lot like Michael Mactnier [however you spell it]

  • There are inaccuracies in this documentaries. The Commando course is 32 weeks, not 30 weeks.

  • so many keyboard warriors on youtube that have read bravo two zero, seen blackhawk down, and are all of a sudden experts on all military matters, you are all pathetic wannabee's. "my country is better than your country" a pathetic playground argument that all but the most infantile wasters gave up on at age 5. get a fuckin life!!! the truth is that you know fuck all

  • @bigchiefmingingbolok

Although there are alot of arrgoant little sh*tes on the internet, a bit of competition never hurt anyone, but pushes both sides to achieve their best

  • @bigchiefmingingbolok well said

  • 30 weeks wow

Im going to become an RCM in a year and a half.

  • Lmao they all fall down at 7:55

  • get down start banging them out lmao

  • How did I guess that when I scrolled down the comments I would just see loads of British vs. American bitching from both sides. So predictable.

  • @gullivera

I know, It is very childish.

Im a proud American, bit still have an amazing amount of respect for UK troops.

I would not hesitate one second to fight alongside a Royal Marine and entrust each others lives in combat.

Pay no attention to the UK military haters from my side of the pond.

They know nothing about what it takes to be a real soldier and how much of an ally the United Kingdom is to America.

  • @SeeYouNextFall if only more people were like you

  • @SeeYouNextFall Your a true American and im British so everything u said the same back to you because theres alot of USA haters from my side of the pond and all the haters are the ones who have never forght against the taliban side by side with the usa and british :)

  • @SeeYouNextFall So whats childish? You just show your respect.

  • @SeeYouNextFall Well said mate :)

  • DON'T BRAK YOUR LEGS i loled tba

  • That was pathetic in terms of those recruits. Not cleaning your personal rifle and not even POLISHING YOUR BOOTS!

Much more horrible than the NZ Army, but our intake(2006) was a quiet, behaved bunch who didn't piss of the Instructors and we all got along.Best memories were the huge feed we had before being assigned to our Regiments......

  • When you die on training, although very sad, there is a certain tough aura that surrounds a unit and recruits seem to flock to these units.

  • considering i am joining the army i will learn these lessons at there expense

  • Bottom Left. 00:26 >.<

  • Best part. 07:55-08:02 Lol xD

  • @Winlogoff exactly, two traditions in the Royal Marines is too get naked and get pissed. The title Royal Marine is just a front for the biggest drinking club on the planet. If your looking to become a bootneck then be prepared!!

  • @crouchtrac hahah awesome!

  • @Winlogoff it involves stripping down to your birthday suits getting pissed and acting like a dick in public places e.g bars, if you lose a drinking game you can bet your ass you'l end up doing naked push ups in the street.

  • Do these videos always have to turn into a pissing contest?

  • can infantry soldiers apply to royal marines commando after minimum service in army?

  • that guys voice is too fucking soft and annoying cudnt hear a thing

  • @leonwiganer ya what I thought you don't know much about Military things.

thing you need to go and learn about the U.S Spec ops and SF teams.

they all have missions and reason for being around,. or for that matter the U.S Military I think your one of those ppl that would try and compare the RM to the USMC lol like Apples and Oranges

  • the toughest training in the world is probably USAF Pararescue. They have the highest failure rate. Then, when regarding DevGru, you have to be a veteran Navy SEAL, who are already great Special Forces soldiers.

hundreds of Seals have failed Devgru training. Devgru is the best of the best in the SEALS . where regular Seals get very hard missions Devgru gets the Impossible

  • @Dogmeat1950 nope sorry... sbs selection is the hardest! fact!

    100-200 sbs men

    5,400 navy seals

    Higher pass rate than sbs!

I doubt a single navy seal could pass sbs selection... seriously lol

  • @MrJasonSmarts dummy. ever heard of funding? the USA has the money to have that many people hell Delta Force has a unlimited budget!

I'm sure if the U.K had the money they would want more SAS and SBS people.

Funding funding funding.. remember those words.

  • @Dogmeat1950 dont kid your self sas training is £1million out of every 100 men 3 get in we only use the best

  • @Dogmeat1950 plus USA has got a much larger population than us resulting ing mored armed forces personel

  • @Dogmeat1950 funding means Fuck all to us British- our armed forces

survive on the basics-but we have been & continue to be the best Army in the world! you can toss as much money as you want at something but that doesnt get you results!

  • @delta0one lol. fail.U.K almost got beat because they where not prepared for war. and didn't have the funding or materials.

  • @Dogmeat1950 eh? Perl Harbour. The Yanks werent prepared for that!

what we lacked in funding & materials we More than made

up for in fighting spirit- we held the Lutfwaffe off with a few men. look at the size of our tiny nation- yet when was the last time we were invaded? (American pop culture not included!) it was the Vikings a thousand years ago...before WE established your country.

  • @delta0one another fail.in fact the Military was prepared. they just didn't think aircraft would show up and bomb pearl lol. cause before Pearl harbor people put a lot of faith in battleships. after ww2 all faith went to the mighty Carriers.

also know you didn't make enough to fight on your own. ever heard of "Lend lease"? with out if there, would have been no U.K

  • @Dogmeat1950 Nope. the US walked into the UK...because we were

holding our own. they didnt have to liberate us. Again, look at our size mate- we've

been Punching Way above our Weight for centuries. you talk about your navy-yeah established by a Scotman. you should look back a little further than Dec 7th 1941-i know thats when US history really seems to start. we sent the Romans, French, Spanish & Germans home to think again. its Called Great Britain for a reason.

  • @delta0one Only because the USA dumped supplies on the U.K to keep them fighting and alive.

  • @Dogmeat1950. I guess you could say we showed you how to put these supplies you's had lying around into good use because after all despite all your money, material & supplies another tiny nation steeped in history came right up & smacked you'd at your door step. tut. tut. Reeks of inexperience in foreign affairs/policy. Oh and as for the Famous Mustang- Rolls Royce Merlin engine made it what it is not the Allison one the US made.

  • @delta0one Rolls Royce Merlin engine... must be talking about the P-51, but that wasn't till 1944.

anyways I was talking about the early years of the war.

  • @Dogmeat1950 ah ok. Well getting back to the point. the UK has done

just as much for the US as they have done for us. Robert Rogers (Brit) created the Rangers, the Royal Marine Commando's trained the Rangers in Oban, Scotland-because they knew Jack Shit about war. the Royal marines have a long and proud service history of fighting & unlike their counterparts werent founded in a tavern (Tun) by a couple of colonial misfits & Beckwith founded Delta on the SAS. My 1st point-funding means shit.

  • @delta0one but... Robert Rogers was a A Colonial American. was never British.

for the USMC see well that's just awsome I mean what other branch can say... hey! we where started in a bar lol. it's all good though.

  • @Dogmeat1950. Suppose so. that must have been when we

were in Boston drinking tea! haha! must admit though all your victories are won with us..WW1, WW2, KOREA, GW1 & hopefully one day GW2 & Afghanistan! infact during GW1 Schwarzkopf used the SAS to go behind the lines SCUD busting well before Delta arrived. & the 1st SEAL to go behind the lines was with the SBS to blow up a fibre optic cable. Maybe vietnam, OP Eagle Claw & somalia would have had a different outcome with us along.

  • @delta0one well many but not all. USA has fought many wars on it''s own too and several Small wars by it self. Vietnam SF and Spec ops units did a Amazing job. they set the stage on what SF/Spec ops would do and be like in the future.

  • @Dogmeat1950 small wars..you mean Panama & Grenada? 2 bit countries hardly count. in vietnam there was no hearts & minds...remember the My Lai massacre or even the Pheonix program? hardly professional conduct. let the side down there. the British developed hearts & minds because without it your counter insurgency will fail. again thats through years of experience fighting wars-something we know alot about.

  • @delta0one O wow. lol.small wars. like 1920's 1930's early 1800's USA has been in a ton of wars by itself.

why in the hell did you bring up my Lai massacre? has nothing to do with battles or wars. If your going to do that then bring up the thousands of the ones the commies did. those people where tried for there crimes on what they did. Father was in Vietnam saw what Horrible things the Commies did.

that's like me bring up the British using biological warfare on the native-Americans

  • @delta0one know what's funny. you doubt the USA just like many did in 2007 about Iraq. guess what! the surged work! unlike the British the USA has never lost a war through it's Military. sorry if I seem harsh to people but Delta0one is being a fucking idiot.

  • @Dogmeat1950 thats OK mate a few name calling is allowed!Anyway sure the US has: the VC Nailed your Ass in NAM- dont tell me for one min that it was all the polititcians fault. you were beaten fair and square by a bunch of poor people. & incase you dont watch the news your Fucking losing two wars right now through the same dumb fucking mistakes...by yet again more poor people. Wake up dickhead -US is only good at 2 things movies & music & even thats becoming shitter by the year.

  • @delta0one wow fail. you do know the VC lost 70% of there strength after the fail Tet operation of 1968 right? USA never lost a battle during the war. losing 2 wars? Iraq is over dude. as I said the surged was completed and most of the control has fallen to Iraq now. I know your so Anti-American and for that matter anti-British.

  • @Dogmeat1950 the surge was completed because the politicians/senior commanders did deals with the different religious groups in different regions to bring them into the political spectrum & not fight-its well known! dont tell me for one min that they simply gave up to the US...because these guys have no quit in them they were Kicking Ass for fuck sake! im not anti US/UK at all, we work Very well, just dont agree that America is the be all & end all in this world as they would have us believe.

  • @delta0one shut up... the pair of you

  • @crouchtrac OK Dad... Are we there yet? haha!

  • @delta0one no but im gonna top myself if you two carry on!

  • @Dogmeat1950 Dogmeat - I'm not anti US - but the USA DID lose many battles during Vietnam. In fact - I can name them if you like.
