hi uma, I live in new york city in an indian community and I am lucky to get all the great indian products but I cannot find the divyaa face mask. I do use a mixture of turmeric, coconut oil, and chickpea flour. Your skin is sooo beautiful.
Hi Uma! I have a video request - lately I've gotten reeeeally into nail polish and I was wondering if you could do a video of some of your favorite nail polishes? Either that or a np collection video. Thanks for reading - happy new year!
Thanks for sharing with us ur tips. Can you tell me how to get rid of blackheads on ur nose?? I have alot on my nose and I hate and I scrub my face alot but it doesn't come out. Thanks again.
hi uma, i really wish i would have skin like yours when i turn thirty and beyond. i have tried a handful of face washes/cleansers and moisturisers (both branded as well as from drugstores), but i ALWAYS end up with a MASSIVE breakout. my mom claims that i should continue using despite the breakout because my skin needs to get used to the product, but i have never lasted with any product so far. WHAT DO I DO???
btw you are so beautiful i think i have a huge crush on you. haha. ;)
@pappaalious : Thanks for the lovely comment. I think you should go see a dermatologist to check why you are breaking out. Crush on me...? hehehe! I am blushing!
@pappaalious Maybe your skin is reacting you all the chemicals. It may be helpful to give your skin a break and go the natural route - gram flour to wash/exfoliate your skin. Or if you don't what to go THAT natural, you should stick to products made for sensitive skin or products without fragrance. Or maybe it's your diet. The skin is just a reflection of whatever is going on inside your body. Do you include fresh fruits and veggies? Do you stay away from extremely processed foods?
@bigbang1001 Hi there, I don't think it's my diet as my skin is naturally fine, save for the occasional pimples. But I wanted to start using a cleanser and moisturiser to ensure the longevity of my good skin. The breakouts only happen when i start using a facial cleanser or moisturiser. I've tried products for sensitive skin and always opt for fragrance-free and water-based products but everything made me have a breakout and I'd be too cautious to continue using them. :(
@pappaalious Oh gotcha! I see what you mean. Yeah, I had a similar problem with facial moisturizers. I used to use a thick and rich cream (Jergens, Cetaphil, Aquaphor etc) on my face... and I used to break out a lot. So, I started to use a thinner formula (Like the Vaseline Aloe Vera lotion), and it keeps my skin moisturized without creating a thick layer (which causes breakouts for me). And as for the cleanser, I keep it really basic, simplest formula without excess sulfates. Hope that helps :)
My Dear. thank you for sharing this video with us. I wanted to know which Sunscreen you use. I've got really oily T zone. But normal to dry skin otherwise. I have been using Vlcc Sandalwood Sunscreen. During Summer I look like I have put on oil, during winters this is Perfect.
@KajalNC45 : Hi, You can try Neutrogena ultra sheer sunscreen in SPF 30. It works great for summertime and does not give that oily look. Hope this helps!
You are such a beautiful woman!!! I agree that skin care should start in your twenties. I've been using a Chinese herbal based skin care line for about 8 years and it has made such a difference in my skins appearance and clarity!!!! Great vid!!!
Olive oil is also a great way to remove eye makeup. Just put a few drops on a cotton ball and wipe away. Very healthy for the skin as well. Thank you very much for the tips Uma :)
Wow! What city do you live in? I'm also from Sweden, Stockholm. I'm so happy to find a beauty guru who actually use things I have access to, wonderful!
I had no idea you lived in Sweden, I'm from Norway, hallo söta bror! And I might be going to Singapore in february, do you have any tips or suggestions for places to visit or shop?
Does anyone here have dry cracked skin in the corners of the mouth? Does anyone have a remedy for that? My doctor gave me hydrocortizone. Does not work. I do not know if I have a yeast infection from drooling everyday...i have a deviated septum and I cant breath thro my nose.
love love love the liner. also wanted to ask does the brush hurt when you use around the eye area? darn i am 23 and i have lines under my eyes olreadi =(
I also use a cleansing brush similar to that but really want to invest in Clarisonic. La Roche Posay has really good sun care also. Thanks for the video...
u r so beautiful! im indian from goa hehe but i live in australia now..i used to use that brush too but i invested in the clarisonic and find it amazing :)
