  • Her stats are often arbitray spinned to make some cohision of a point. Most stats i have read state that public schools and charter schools test about the same. She is at the very least a puppet of the republican plan to privatize education.Privatizing it just means that your tax money goes to a private company rather than to the state you live in and from there it is going to end up with her criminal friends on wall st.its not hard to see.Just do the research. She is full of shit!

  • Just a quick reminder that Rhee's results have been demonstrated to have been caused by teachers editing the student's tests before submission and her turning a blind eye to it.

  • Get rid of the teachers union. Problem solved :).

  • @jpzxcvbnm how bout one step better....get rid of ALL UNIONS in the USA...every single union...because when you think about it boils down to this:

which choice is responsible for most of the inequity that exists in America:

    A) corporatocracy/oligarchy/plutocracy or (B) unions in of the working class

any fool knows the answer to that...right??...

GET RID OF THE TEACHERS AND ALL UNIONS

You my friend are a real problem solver!...i'm so impressed with your brilliance!! : -/

  • what an amazing women, too bad she's retired

  • TYPO: " . . . during the parent/teacher conferences . . ."

  • In 1981 the US National Educational Association reported that 36% of teachers said they would probably not go into teaching if they had to decide again. A major reason was "negative student attitudes and discipline"

Teachers need tenure because during the parent/teacher conference, they need to be free to tell parents the truth.

(e.g. “Your child has a short-attention span. He is constantly talking. Nonstop. He fidgets and squirms in his seat. He is impatient, defiant and a bully!”)

  • @MsJanetWood

the problem with tenure is that it removes teachers from accountability for the quality of education they provide

  • Michele Rhee needs to become Education Secretary.

  • @jose23msu I agree

  • In foreign countries, there is no SOCIAL PROMOTION. If a student fails, he must repeat the entire year . . . AGAIN!

In America, it is literally impossible to "flunk" a student!

A teacher must attend a "special retention meeting", where she must present her case to a panel of experts.

Even, if the team agrees to retain the student, the parents can still veto their decision!

That is how you end up with junior high kids that don't know their time tables and read at a 2nd grade level!

  • @MsJanetWood Dude what school district are you in?

  • @snufleufugus She's "retired" now but worked in Ho Ho Kus

  • I live in Texas and 'I can see Gov. Christie from my House'... I want Michelle to 'Educate me Long Time'... She's hot

  • Lefties and progressives will throw Rhee under the bus... and some already have. It's not about critical thinking and true progress towards beneficial results for children/students. It's about corrupt power structures and their monetary gain. We need more Michelle Rhees and Chris Christies.

  • @brothermoon Honey, she was forced out after the election......where have you been?

  • Governor Christie, if you won't run for President, will you at least resign and move to KY and run for Governor against this this quack we currently have in office??? We need you...the United States Of America needs you!!! Our Sovereignty and Constitution needs you!!!

  • @gunloc26 You want Christie to abandon his post like Sarah Palin abandoned hers? I'm sorry, but responsible people see their jobs through until the end.

  • @sugarkang Hardly the same thing.

  • Love the Gov.

  • I like Michelle Rhee. I don't like that she defends No Child Left Behind, but overall she seems like a good person.

  • People need to hear the hard news. Gov Christie is doing everything right. It might not be popular with the vermin liberals, but hey.........

  • thats because other news organizations have tried to test him and make him trip up and have failed miserably. organizations like CNN and MSNBC dont talk about him because there is nothing bad to say about him, and he has proven his capability multiple times.

  • @MrUkedaddycane FOX News supports all The Right Conservative Screwballs. Nothing bad to say about Christie try this 1) Attacks the Teachers 2) Wants to shut the Meadowlands Racetrack 3) Wants to shut down NJ Public television 4)The Big One the STUPIDEST OF ALL Shutting down the ARC Rail tunnel I hope they garnish his entire salary and make him repay the 200 Million NJ must pay back the Federal government. Chris Christie is all about himself and the rest of his Republican take care of the rich.

  • @garak99

Sounds like you want a spanking from him.

  • @DeathKnightKiller No I only play with Women and usually Top

  • @garak99 All those sound good. You can only benefit from saving money.

  • @garak99

    1. He isnt "attacking" the teachers. he simply asked for a very small compromise from the overcompensated teachers and education officials in order to help balance the budget. teachers unions are not willing to budge.

    2. The Racetrack is notorious for corruption and squandering taxpayer dollars.

    3. NJ doesnt have the money to pay for it right now.

    4. the tunnel would be 70% funded by NJ, the rest is federal tax dollars. NJ cant afford that. why isnt NY helping with the costs?

  • @MrUkedaddycane It annoys me to no end when anyone says that some other worker is "overcompensated" form Actors to sport stars to bankers. If you ask the teachers will they agree that they are overcompensated ? As far as The Meadowlands both NY and PA racetracks have slot machines to offset the betting handle all the are asking Christie for them to compete my having slots for him to say No I want to shut you down is going against what is good for NJ

  • @garak99 of course the teachers wouldnt think they're overcompensated. as an interested party they would only want more than what they are already getting. but the point is that the teachers unions are unwilling to make a small compromise in order to help balance the budget. when it somes to the racetrack, i dont think that tax dollars should be used, at least in NJ's current ecenomic status, to fund it. we need to focus on getting the budget and the debt under control, first and foremost.

  • @garak99 Moron - when we pay their salaries, we have a right to say they are overcompensated - especially when most of them are barely literate. I don't care how much people in the private sector make - that is up to the market within which they work. Teachers are overcompensated - says one who pays for them.

  • @msm318 Are Police, Fireman and NJTP Toll Collectors overcompensated too. ?My answer to this has always "We cannot afford to give you a salary increase this FY but to make up for that we will give you a extra 2 weeks vacation or 10 Floating Days"

  • @garak99 As long as they are sucking us dry with their pensions and benefits packages, then YES the are FAR overpaid. No salary increases for 5-10 years and restructure ALL benefits and pension packages. NO PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNIONS! Those but be squashed immediately. Next question?

  • @msm318 Are you out of your mind ? Ever worker in ever job has an right and needs unions if it were not for unions the minimum wage would be $2.50 for a 6 day workweek no sick time or vacations or maybe not even healthcare. Unions built this country.

  • @garak99 i agree that unions are, without a doubt, needed to fight for the workers. however, the NJ teachers' union has run rampant these past couple of decades, and now that someone is asking them for a small compromise, they are trying to paint him as anti-education. are firefighters, policemen etc. overcompensated? no, i dont believe that is the case, but teachers and education officials recieve far more than other public employees and are absolutely overcompensated.

  • @garak99 1.) I am not out of my mind. 2.) Every worker does NOT need a union - that is why only 7% of private sector employees belong to a union. The other 93% do just fine. 3.) The government should not dictate to a business owner how much he must pay an employee - the market should dictate that. - NO MINIMUM WAGE - IT IS JOB KILLER!! 4.) Unions did not build this country.

I believe the theory behind the union was originally well-intentioned. It is a cancer now. NO PUBLIC UNIONS!!

  • @msm318 OK I think Players on all sports make too much money but how much to you think they would be making if not for the union. Secondly I think all businesses could take a lesson from sports in the view of a partnership a 50-50 deal. Owners and share holders get 50% and workers get 50%

  • @garak99 Well, first of all - athletes are not public employees so the taxpayer does not pay his or her salary. Their salaries are negotiated by a union (and we shall see what that does to NFL next season), but they are private funds in a market that dictates those salaries. Secondly, if you think it ends up being a 50-50 split, you truly are an idiot. I don't care for unions in the private market, but I down right hate them in the public market. NO TAXPAYER SHOULD PAY UNION EMPLOYEES!!!!!!

  • @garak99 I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THOSE IDEAS! CHRISTIE ROCKS!!!!!!

  • @garak99 You must work for the teacher's union.

  • @tjttzcspplt Sorry to disappoint you I do not work for the teachers union. I am however a retired NJ state worker.

  • @garak99 So, of course you hate the deliverer of your slaves.

  • @tjttzcspplt garak99 is a troll. If you go look at other videos of Chris Christie you will see he or she is just a fool. Don't hurt your fingers trying to argue with the IDIOT! Its one of them that you cant explain anyhting to. Its to lost in the free handouts.

  • @donttelluseenme There's so many of them.

  • @tjttzcspplt Clearly, he works for some union....and it is obvious he is paid by dollars that are forced out of the taxpayers. People like this disgust me. They think they are entitled to something and screw the taxpayers who have to suffer just to pay their sorry asses. It's not our fault you can't get a good job in the real world and you have to go be some flunkie for the state or federal government - stealing money from the rest of us. NO MORE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNIONS!!

  • @msm318 Thank you.

  • @garak99 Yeah, it shows that the other networks have a bias in favor of the teacher's union. I'm defending FOX here. I'm just saying.
