I defy anyone to see that Ralph is favoring his injured leg. He isn't, because he's a gutsy performer. But instead of being rewarded, he is once again scored low by the judges with the reasoning that he didn't get in enough practice time. Where does that show in the dance? I thought the choreography looked very well prepared and once again was a nearly flawless performance. The season was so frustrating, judges scored them low and we'll never know why.

@maxinec29 I can't help but think that. They both said that they were late additions to the show. I think the producers thought Ralph would stink and pair them thinking they wouldn't be around long or have little fan support.

@jestrquick12 I agree, right after the dance a friend called me and said she had chills at the end of this dance. She never watched before this season, she wanted to see Ralph and from week 2 and on we both thought Ralph and Karina were not given scores they deserved. So obvious it was sad to watch the negative comments week after week.

Ralph should have scored a 10 for this, just for the spin sequence at 3:44,technically very difficult to do. Although I'd have given a 10 just for "the look" at the end and the guyliner. Cant wait to see thier AT lots of passion in that!!!

Wow! Only 9 hours! and stabbing pains in his leg/knee?!!! Impressive on it's own but man did I LOVE the choreography and interpretation of this music in a waltz like I never seen before. INTENSE! Amazing! I would love to see them do this waltz again when he gets the injury fixed with surgery and is all healed up. I was completely drawn into the intensity and uncontrollable and a bit dangerous attraction each other. The Drama reached out to me. I think Ralph deserves another chance. :)

He is the tragic hero(The Outsiders), the troublemaker(Teachers), the learner(Crossroads), and the loner(Distant Thunder) of 80s youth. No one, I repeat, no one have ever captured the 80s better than Ralph, save Michael J. Fox, Rob Lowe, Sean Penn, etc.

that was AMAZING since he had a knee problem...it was fantastic! i loved the creepy viennese waltz! he looks funny with eyeliner. he has such big eyes anyway, its kinda like "Whoah! where'd your face go?" but in an attractive way. i loved that dance! there was something decidebly....raunchy about that dance. especialy the ending, i kinda looked away."a little knife pain" huh? man, that dance wouldve gotten 10s if it werent for his knee. not that i blame him at ALL

I sincerely hope it makes it through tonight and his leg heals because I don't think we have seen anything near what he is capable of! You go Ralph! this was a brilliant dance on 9 hours of training, Ralph didnt miss a step, and captured the character of the dance, like he does all the others. As always Karina's choreogrpahy was stunning. I don't think the music was bad at all. It was somehow unusual for a viennese waltz to employ this dark and mysterious style, but this dance was very original and mesmerizing. Karina styled the movements very well. If Ralph didn't get injured and rehearse more to polish his footwork, i think it could have been their greatest hit. It was such a pity :(.

@cafra1707 if memory serves, she had something replacing the cartilage in her knee and has a permanent injury. He is recovering from a burst cyst which heals on its own in a few days time. i tend to think that she had something else injected into her knee for lubrication which takes away the pain, but i don't think its steriods..cortizone?

Okay, Ralph Macchio is a man that surely deserves to be so respected. He didn't let an injury put him out of the competition, and for so little reharsal time he had due to his injury they did it quite good. Ralph again showed that the show must continue.

All of my respect to Ralph and Karina, I really hope they win this competition.

I'm worried that Ralph is in danger of going home this week, because everyone else did very well this week and Ralph had the lowest scores. I really like him, it's tough to deal with an injury like this at this stage of the competition, but unfortunately you can't control it happening. It's up to the voters now.
