this is just fucking horrible. when i read on internet that Matthew's friends dressed up as angels and surrounded almost beating the shit out of them I was so happy (even though I realize it was a long time ago).
I think they might be more useful dead. Ignorance is in fact the worst thing that one could see. We live maybe about 70-80 years if lucky. Why the fuck would spend this short time we have on directing your life on hating someone? it just doesnt make much sense to me...

If you ask me Fred Phelps should go home and get butt fucked a few times, he may actually like it! Fred Phelps appears a sociopath who uses the bible as his tool. Sort of like someone who enjoys torturing puppies but in this case the instrument of control (attempted) is a book written at various times by various human authors and based upon handwritten copies of copies of copies. Many changes were made over time, some intentional and some accidental. Not one original manuscript is known to exist and xerox machines did not exist in 70 a.d. Westboro should not be taken seriously.

Matthew Shepard. He was a young man who was brutally beaten and left to die by two guys....because he was gay.
He went into a coma and later died. Phelps and his "Church" believed the murderers to be "Tools of God"...because they believe God wanted Matt to die because he was gay.

A bicyclist discovered his body and thought he was a scarecrow. Five days after he was found, he died. His injuries were horrific, including brain stem damage. The only reason he was attacked was for his orientation. These douchebags picketed his funeral, as they have with many others.
