  • I checked your website and was able to find answers to most of my questions...

You probably receive many suggestions and recommendations as to what kind of videos you should put up, and the one I'm about to humbly suggest has probably already been asked of you. I thought that it might be useful to have a lesson with the camera angle from the profile perspective (side angle). I thought that this might really show what your're doing with your fingers. I'm not sure though.

  • Hello Mr Kees.

Thank you for these lovely videos.

A few questions, how much do you charge for lessons.. I live in Vancouver so they would be conducted in person I suppose, I don't know if that makes a difference?

Also, I'm having trouble playing in the higher registers, any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Lastly, what's this easiest way to figure out what kind or ney you have... I think mine is somewhere in the middle range.

    Thank you very much.

  • Many thanks for these! You take our requests very seriously, you are a true teacher and a very good performer.

    Greetings from Greece,

    Konstantinos

  • Thanks a lot. The combination of written explanation and video is of great help. It would have been helpful to beginners that when playing with a singer, most of the times the starting note of a same dastgah can be differrent depending on the singer's range.

  • Let me know if this is helpful and what else you like; I can do other dastgahs, show more fingerings etc. To really play well listen to the true masters though!
