I'm sure you can make straps just by using a long sleeve shirt instead of short sleeves. Use one of the sleeves and cut two rectangular strips out of them. Fold one of them in half with the right sides facing each other and sew along the outer edge. Use a safety pin to flip it inside out and do the same with the other strip of fabric. Then just sew it onto your dress. it can be a halter too!

Love a girl that can sew/knit/etc.! I can knit a little bit, but nowhere near as good as my mom. Why aren't women interested in doing any of these things anymore? I find it to be very useful; it's a great way to reuse old clothes without throwing them away, and you save a whole lot of money while exercising creativity.

@pathmatharani She probably makes clothes that she can wear herself. She's skinny, so her designs (which are made to fit herself) are for someone with similar body types. But a lot of her clothes could be tweeked to be for people off different sizes. You just have to get more faberic or a larger sized shirt to make it.

For those who wants the same dress but longer, you can add another layer so the dress will be doubled - ayer dress, for example " main layer is pink like the dress in the video and the second layer gonna be white but longer ". You put the two layers ( materials ) and sew them together same way she does here. It will look sexy.
