  • Great vid !!

  • I watch this before i do anything mentally or physically straining, just gets you to pumped up man.

  • As a Rams fan I'm glad we won the SB, but I would have been complaining about this call if we lost. Stop the video at 0:31 . The knee is clearly down

  • Great running back. One of the best of all time. But he got bitched by ray Lewis. Watch ray Lewis number 7 most feared tackler of all time. He makes eddie look soft

  • @GHili3sneaksz23 he got ray ray a few times himself though remember that nasty stiff arm

  • AP reminds me a lot of Eddie George. Power, Speed and Explosivenes = BEAST!!!

  • I'm Eddie George I'm absolutely jacked and I'll talk to you later

  • Man, Eddie George was a beast... Never stopped moving them legs on contact, he had more heart than most players I have ever watched. My favorite player by far, wish he won a ring against the Rams.

  • Eddie George stiff armed the fuck outs ray Lewis!!!!! and told his ass he ain't shit after!!! Just like the movie I remember the titians....when Air McNair went HAM along D.Mason, Kerse, Tyrone Calico and Bennett..cant forget Jeff Fisher....Classic team back in the day...everybody had a titians jersey!!!

  • @dakiddinyobitch Hell yea, that was the team in the mid 90's and into 2003... I wish the Titans had players now like they did then.

  • wtf why does everyone say the nfl backs today dont compare to the backs back in the day cause they obviously do the players a long time ago are not even close to as good as there are now. eddie george isnt great but dont insult the modern backs because they have finesse and have you guys ever heard of adrian peterson or peyton hillis yea theyre runningbacks too....haters just shut up

  • @GsusWillRise dont even compare peyton hillis to any of the great backs, hes not even in the top 10 in the nfl right now....and it used to be more run orientented, if theyre expecting the run all the time defense is prepared for the run, now its a passing game so its about speed, its not that they arent as good but you just cant compare them, plain and simple

  • Lorenzo Neal.

  • george is only second to barry sanders...if either of these guys wuda had a team they cuda rush for 20000 easy

  • I remember going to Jaguar/Titans games back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Eddie George was so huge it seemed, he looked the same size as a DE like Kearse kinda. Ruined my afternoon more than a couple times but I have to respect him.

  • Lol back when the Titians were good lol

  • @MrSnackization Ikr? Now we suck lol. I also would rather have Eddie George against 8 in the box every Sunday now than Chris Johnson, and especially Eddie's work ethic over CJ's.

  • @kwhit009 Well this back when NFL players had pride in what theyy did.

  • @MrSnackization damn right. tired of today's league and the money hungry players.

  • Eddie George was a beast, my favorite player of all time by far... They don't make running back like him anymore. His legs were always moving and he didn't care who was trying to tackle him, if he couldn't get around you, he was running through you. Just a monster.

  • @thebucszone hey man great vid, u think u can upload highlights of the 2001 tennessee titans? hope you can get back to me soon.

  • @kwhit009 go titans!

  • @StevxnPS3 shut up with that yeah don't get me wrong offensive lineman help and work a lot but the running back makes his own career and his own name. As same do great quarter backs and receivers a greater quarter back is gonna highlight a receivers career but each player has to put in the work to make their own name.

  • @kookiemunster352 actually running backs and pretty much any player with the ball has and can make plays when the blocks break down and just cause your a fat ass and could only play lineman doesn't mean you know how to play football.

  • @kookiemunster352 u obviously never played football because any football player knows if ur team cant block u cant win u may make one or two decent plays but the game is won by controlling the line of scrimage either opening holes for rb's or giving qb's time to hit an open wr

  • @BigStew205 I never said that lineman weren't important and I played football for 7 years. But my point was that it isn't the lineman that make a running back good (they help probably a lot too). You could put a shitty running back behind the best lineman in the world and its still gonna be a shitty running back. Most of the long runs you see the running back still has to break a tackle or two to score. That was my point I just got a little irritated with stevxnPS3

  • My personal favorite running back

  • Just a reminder, he is 6'3" 245!!!

  • name of the song ??

  • Why is this guy not in HOF

  • To watch another Tennesseefavorite, Lorenzo Neal, BLOW UP a CB...go to 00:50 .

  • Eddie George didn't just show that he was a powerful running back but a quick one as well

  • 0:28 - 0:46 = Pure determination. Eddie George is a Tennessee hero. He gave people something to believe in and cheer for on a weekly basis. The way he played just fit this state so well: smash mouth and in your face. I was sad to see his career cut short by injuries, but thanks to these highlights I will always remember him just the way he was in his prime. Eddie George: the last great old school running back.

  • i said it 11 months ago, and i will say it again...Adrian Peterson is this generations Eddie George...other than his fumbles. They are both fast as heck, they can juke the bejeebus out of you, they can run you the heck over, and they are built similarly...George was 6' 3" 230, Peterson is 6' 1"-2" 230...

  • this dude is big

  • to bad they dont make running backs like eddie and emmitt anymore damn pussy these days

  • @therdawgs52 he must have left out the part of ray lewis's pregame where he says " lets go look like we're the steeler's bitch year after year" bc god knows thats all the ravens ever will be

  • They should switch up the AFC South and North a little. The Titans and Colts should move to the AFC North and Cleveland and Cincinnati should be in the AFC South. That way we have to keep waiting for a Ravens-Steelers game on the calender.

  • Eddie..Eddie..Eddie..Eddie. This guy was such a hard worker always liked him in the NFL too bad the Jeff Fischer overworked him. I mean it's what you are supposed to do give the ball to the only guy on their offense that could do something lol

  • Hahaha "its our time now" Ray Lewis completely humiliates you on national TV over and over and over and over again.. ends your career and you have ZERO rings.. yup it was your time alright... time to hang up the cleats.. look at him copying off the Ray Lewis pregame huddle as well haha!!!!!!!!

  • @TheRDawg52 Ray Lewis humiliates most of the nfl runningbacks so you really aren't saying much but I'm pretty sure Jeff Fischer ruined his career because all the Titans could do is run the football

  • Did you get these from when the Titans had hilight videos up?

  • Like this if you think he was the most beautiful man in the NFL

  • everyone in columbus still loves Eddie, hes the man. GO BUCKS

  • 3:29 I was at that game! Gotta love the McNair and George Era. Lets him the Locker and Johnson era starts of strong.

  • Eddie George was a beast. Problem with the titans is they overwork their running backs.

  • @jneil2007 Well With Locker, another rb selected I think CJ will get a break. Also Locker can run.

  • @jneil2007 problem with the internet is everyone's a football coach.

  • @Wilhelm1617 ahahah sooo true

  • this man got me hooked on football, loved watching Eddie run. nice to see people are still watching him on youtube.

  • What is the name of the second song

  • Eddie George really paved the way for the new age Power backs like Lagarrette Blount, Brandon Jacobs, and Peyton Hillis. He was the true epitomy of Size, Speed and power. I wonder why there are not more Eddie George Tribute videos on Youtube?

  • @dromero68 probably cause he went to ohio state. the world hates the buckeyes lol

  • I am a pats fan, eddie george was fuckin beast for titans, it was just disapointing his final season was, when he was not being involved in the offense of the tians and one of his worst production season, but still great running back, he and mcnair were the best running back-quaterback tandem ever.

  • hahaha ray lewis owned this cat ended his career

  • Eddie was a beast for those who know what its all about this guy NEVER stopped moving his legs like todays backs. Watch when hit if anything u see him move faster and push harder then when just running total beast. . . if only he had a team ; ;

  • @quicknclean2009 he did it was called the tennessee titans which were a good team back then

  • @quicknclean2009 Yeah imagine if he only had a few Hall of Famers to play with... oh wait he did... Easily played on one of the best teams Titans/Oilers ever had...

  • @quicknclean2009 he made it to the superbowl. thats all you can ask for.

  • @quicknclean2009 He had a team from 1999-2004. Should of won it in 1999 and 2000. Mistakes is what cost them. He had the help of McNair, Dyson, Neal, Mason, Wycheck, Kearse, Bishop, Bulluck, and the rest of the solid defense the titans had for those years.

  • omg what a beastman

  • He was the best even though Earl Cambell made him look stupid

  • he was a f'n beast!!!!!!!!

  • he was like watching earl campbell all over again

  • Eddie! Eddie! Let me say something, I'm a Oakland Raiders fan, but I was also an Tennessee Titans fan in Eddie George's NFL career span. Since I have been watching pro football, there has been no other work-horse back like him. Respect.

  • THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY

  • Great Video man, thanks for posting it.

  • CJ is good, but Eddie is irreplaceable.

  • what ever happen to him, i remember watchin him as a kid though, hella good

  • @punnkypo years of being the battering ram took a toll on his body...but what a great player... lived up to all the expectations put on him... great career

  • 6'3 230 straight up beast. Every one of his yards were hard earned and he's the definition of a workhorse.

  • He's one of the only men who can show Ray Lewis up..

  • this is a tough act to follow but cj is doing a hell of a job...

  • @MD52324 maybe now but then i dont think so man, just a opinion though

  • good video i know they need more vids of him. hes a beast!!

  • this guy was real as fuck!!!!!!

  • THE MAN!!!!!

  • adrian peterson is a eddie george type running back but he just needs to secure the ball more better

  • @quest0308 true but peterson is faster though

  • @quest0308 more better? are you retarded?

  • Eddie gave Ed Reed and Ray Lewis a nasty ass stiff arm!

  • thank u so much man this kinda video is long over do for eddie my fav football player ever

  • @badboyinjordanz me too man. he is the reason i still love the titans!

  • Comment removed

  • BEAST!

  • the remember most important thing protect the ball like eddie does,

we know adrian peterson is fantastic but you gotta protect the ball,i hope adrian peterson can cure the fumble issues, and put it on the back burner.

  • @613Joker420

    you forgot to add

    COCKSUCKER.

  • peterson is great runningback but he holds the ball different than eddie!

peterson holds it off to the side,so its easy to strip the ball,

im a vikings/buckeyes fan,but i think adrian peterson fumbles like its going out of style, peterson is good when he dont fumble.

i have allways been a eddie george fan,i am not talkin trash about adrian peterson, just tellin the truth, adrian peterson needs to hold the ball in his gut like eddie!

basically peterson holds it out too much!

  • One of my fav backs of all time!

  • is it just me or does Adrian Peterson and Eddie George have similar running styles...

  • @mrtomdabomb40 naw they do

  • What's the name of that song at the middle/end of it

  • Pure Workhorse... My Favorite player of all time

  • he retired to early... go eddie george 27 4 life

  • him mcnair bullock and kearse equal best titans ever

  • @83talley I agree it's bitch ass Jeff Fisher's fault they lost hat superbowl he knew the rams couldn't stop the pass but he kept it on the ground for some reason, and he still does that shit. Steve Mcnaire and Vince Young would have been the two best QBs of their time titans probably would have won several superbowls but Jeff fisher always wants to run but eddie george handles the work better than anyone

  • Thank you sooo much for making this...it only took 15 years for his highlight reel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best back in the world, what a freakin beast.

  • BEAST!!!

  • I'm kind of happy because me and him are 2nd cousins just by saying that i'm NBA player Jarret Jack and Deavon George's Cousin.

  • great vid

  • at 6'3 236 eddie george was nasty brandon jacobs is 6'4 265 hes basically a middle linebacker

  • one of my favorite backs of all time

  • forgot how awesome those oiler unis looked

  • thanks we need more eddie ! go titansd !! love CJ but eddie was the back bone of the titans for years

  • Simply epic. Thanks so much for getting a highlight video of him up.

  • Love seeing him in a Oilers Uniform too!!! EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE!!

  • the only reason eddie george was as good as he was, was bcuz of his blockin by bruce matthews n lorenzo neal

watch if u see his videos n he had no blockin he would be runnin backwards alot like barry sanders

  • @jconxcon1 This is funny because you're dumb...

  • @jconxcon1

Having those two block for him certainly helped but Eddie was a damn good RB. He wasn't productive ONLY because of Matthews and Neal.

  • Dude thank you for making this. Ive been looking for highlights of him forever.

  • Fucking beast hate how his career ended

  • Thanks thebucszone for posting this. George is one of my favorite running backs

  • Way the pitbull song in the second half of vid he was a fucking tank Ray Lewis and Ed reed just dirty Eddie george!

  • yup. earl campbell, eddie george, and now chris johnson.

  • Great Vid!! Not enough credit is given to him, a pure truck. And running over ray Lewis? Classic.

  • running back much?

  • good to see a nfl great remembered with a good video

  • Nice video. I love Eddie George. He was such a great football player, mainly because of his heart and leadership.

  • Thank you so much for this. The memories i have of Eddie were so long ago and watching this got me all pumped up. He just never stopped movin his feet man.

  • well I admire that you are tenacious and recognized the need for some good fandom going on, good for you! Keep going with that spirit!
