I have used this paint on a number of vehicles. Bottom line is, use the prep materials then coat it with a high quality satin rattle can paint. The rust proof paint flakes off if the surface is not perfect (blisters) and it is a pain to re-coat since this paint is very difficult to use compared to a simple rattle can fix.
Only sand blasting can properly prep a frame for painting..it's what we did in the Navy to coat ship hulls..anything else does not hold up..
