@laststylemover it depends what type of footwork you're trying to do. if you are trying to do old school traditional type of footwork, people tend to use their finger tips more. people that use a lot of tricks, power, and flow usually use their palms because it becomes very easy to sprain and twist your fingers and knuckles if you try do do a lot of the hard stuff on your finger tips ;-)
