I suppose it's not a traditional, or even fair game... but it's still a game nonetheless. One can play it, it requires the participation of one or more people, and it can be fun (depending on the mindsets of those playing, of course). i hate to say it, but this is not a true paradox at all. the robot was simply lying. If you look at it from reverse the only way the robot could be telling the truth is if he planned to give them back all along. It is more of a catch 22 for the robot then a paradox.
