I sure remember Annabelle's soprano voice. It fits her very well, if you ask me.

As for the twin witch cats, I noticed that they were both voiced by the same actress -- Elizabeth Daily, best known as the voice of Tommy Pickles in "Rugrats". It must have twice as much rehearsing on her part, mainly when the twins sang.

It sounds to me like the whole opening scene is loosely inspired by the opening song of Jesus Christ Superstar "Heaven on Their Minds". The music sounds a little similar, and even some of the lyrics.
