  • thank you

  • wow!!!! okay so how you described your hair is how mine is...no lie...like my freakin arm..its so embarrassing and i always cry about it cause i dont feel normal. so im going to go buy these products...i believe you...i pray this works...cause im also natural...so i want to be able to wear my hair out in confidence. thank you so much for this video and i will let you know if it worked for me =)

  • You are so convincing. I'd bet you could sell ice to a Eskimo lol. I'm gonna try this though, thanks.

  • afta watching this video about a couple of months ago i went and bought emu and castor oil frm amzon. when they arrived i started to apply them on.my edges exactly how it ws mentioned in this vid. i dnt wnt to sound harsh but emu oil which istarted using first has made my edges much worser then they were. so i would like advice u guys that this does not work on ALL hair types..

  • @hussainm1233333 I don't think it has anything to do with hair type. You probably had a a bad skin reaction to the oil. Some people have skin that is sensitive to simulating oil.

  • Amazon has the emu and Jamaican black caster oils at a reasonable price and fast shipping

  • what type lip gloss

  • why do you smack your tongue and swollen so much lil sistah?

  • What if I did the treatment to my whole scalp? Would my whole head get thicker

  • How soon did you start seeing results after using the products?

  • can this jelp with early male pattern baldness?

  • so you just alternate the Emu Oil and Black Castro Oil each night? Do you continue to use gel well Ecko Gel on your hair because my hair is abour the length in the this video or maybe shorter. What do you use on your hair when you get up in the morning? My is hair is still mattened and dry and is looks bad. I use Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme to try to moisterize it but I still wake up with dry hair and I do use a silk scarf? Please help? i would like my hair to grow and have more moister.....

  • What if only one part of your edges is thin?

  • Great vid! I'll have to share it!

  • 2 questions 1) how long did it take to see a noticeable difference? 2) Can I still use Jam to lay down? Or do you think it may not be good for me?

  • Ok, I finally decided to wear my big chop this week! I do hate my edges because they are so thin and bald. I am going to use your technique! I'll keep you posted! :)

  • Thank you for the info!!!!!!! I'm going to try it. LOL :-)

  • Have you tried coconut oil?

  • Great post. I'm gonna get some Emu oil and tell others about it!

  • Hello. Ive seen your video about growing your edges back. I have a problem with my big forehead or you can say with my hairline. Do you think it would be possible to make my forehead appear look smaller using castor oil? I am not expecting a huge improvement but I am really depressed and I was thinking if theres any chance to try and see how it goes. I am looking forward to hear from you. Natalia

  • My edges are very embarrassing too.....its been about 8 years now its like that..very bald!!!!!....now Ive found the emu oil and it really works....its my first week and im already seeing hairs coming out......i'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've also bought a Jamaican black castor oil.......i'm also alternating by the week........thanks miss cinnamoncake for inspiring me.

  • You are beautiful! I have had emu oil in my cupboard for a year. I was resisting using it till now lol.. I had a baby and 10 months later my hair is shedding like mad.. if it works il be so mad I did not try before as I have lost half my head of hair.. I will use with normal cold pressed castor oil and see. Nice progress on the edges. All the best.

  • duuuz olive oil workk

  • Hi I want to know where to fine the emit oil please is there an address or phone number I can not fine it anywhere

  • Love those lip!

  • congrat on your hair journey, this is what I have use to grow my edges

  • @lavilada how to grow my edges and thicken my hair

  • wow thanks so much!!

  • I wanted to know what vitamin store do u get the jamican oil and the emu oil!!

  • @kikib1974 Amazon.com hunnie

  • Ok ya said ya rub ya edges every single night with the oil but, what about a person who wears weaves sewn in/bond in is there any suggestion to that?

  • I used to have decent length edges--not long but long and full enough for skilled hands to do small little braids. Well, one day I went to someone for a sew-in and used a cap to cover the braids. First, she tightly braided my edges and second, she sewed the elastic band on my edges. All that pulling and friction from the band wore it out. Now, I have to figure out how to TLC for my edges. A problem I've never had.

  • Funny, because "Refining" the oil removes beneficial ingredients which give the emu oil its penetrative properties....so you probably could use ANY oil.

  • Hey im a boy and my edges are/were eff'd up because i wore a due cap everyday. now that i stopped wearing them, my edges are kinda growing. should i use this, does it work for boys??

  • @TyeDye07 yes hun, it works for anyone...just make sure to massage it in

  • @MissCinnamonCake hey i live in a really small town and we down have a vitamin store so could i buy both products online or something?

  • i get my emu oil from camden grey i buy all my oils from there so the shipping isn't that bad but that have it the cheapest i have seen anywhere

  • thank u for your video! i just bought emu oil yesterday

  • Thank u so much for making this video! I really appreciate it. I just bought emu oil yesterday and have used it last night before I went to bed, put it on this morning and just put it on after I took a shower. Hahaha thanks again! And how long does it take until u start seeing improvements?

  • Giiiiirl thank you for sharing this. I`m sooo going to try your regimen for edges.

  • How long does it take after rubbing the castor oil and emu oil on my edges before I see results.

  • Is it okay to use Proclaim's Natural 7 Argan Oil on my edges? or will it clog it or something?

  • @mizzstar21 I wouldn't because it has lots of silicones

  • @MissCinnamonCake

oh thanks! what if I use it as a sealant on my hair strands after I moisturize?

  • @mizzstar21 That may be ok, I know a lot of ppl use it for that

  • @MissCinnamonCake i bought afrotic west indian castor oil today for my edges it's 100% c.o. is there a difference between this and jamaican black castor oil?? and do you know if they have the same effect???

  • hi, nice progress!!! keep it up. how long did it take you to grow from "bald " to the time you were making this video?

  • your lips are gigantic! you are gorgeous!

  • You're beautiful, thanks for the tips!

  • thats good your hair is growing...but i heard that too much oil can clog your pores in the scalp thus preventing hair growth.

  • Unrefined is the most natural. Refined is not purely organic ::(. But glad it worked for you :))!!

  • Thanks for giving me hope. May your edges grow back full thick and long. You are such an inspiration to ladies struggling with bald edges.

  • Thank you! You are too cute! You remind of Brandy from her Moesha days! :)

  • In addition to being informative, you have dashing eye-make up!

  • Now do u think wrapping your hair will thinn yohr edges? I never usedto wrap my hair cause I didnt know how and now that I know it needs done its been thinning and also ive been growing out my relaxer n ive been wearing alot of ponytails.. Could that be pulling it back too

  • Well I am going to try and find both oils in the next 5 days and then will take pictures and in 6 months I will let you know if you are my new BF! Thank You!

  • How long did it take for Ur skin bald edges to grow back using the jbco?

  • I'm kind of having this problem as well & I wanted to get some advice from u

  • Hey u said Ur edges were skin bald how long did it take to fill in?

  • After you apply the oil, do you wrap your hair in satin or plastic wrap? or just leave it?

  • Can these products be used all over your hair in general just for moisturising and also for the hairline?

  • @YO0Sasha oh yeah def! I use it all over my hair as well

  • You're gorgeous! This really helped me...

  • I have tried everything on my hair to help it grow out because I used to play soccer all the time and my hair was in a ponytail....I think it pulled to tight because my hair seems less at the edges or the side of my head....and can this work for any hair type?

  • btw have u ever use morrocan oil.. I use it on my hair and ends not on my scalp

  • @SweetAshou123 you are most welcome love...no, I have not because it is too expensive. But I have heard great things!!!

  • I love ur lip gloss lip liner combo on ur lips.. btw thx for ur vid because I've been lookin all over youtube and ur vid helped me out the most.. I've never heard of emu oil I think I'm gonna get it.

  • will this work on a receding hairline

  • @Alusaint Honestly, I'm not sure but give it a shot, its all the head anyway :)

  • This video helped alot!!!

  • what about an olive oil?

  • I have the same issue. THank you so much for recommendations. I'm going to try them. Mine came out from braids. I still wear them but I make sure they are not tight. I'm in the middle of transitioning for the 2nd time! :-)

  • That oil comes from a bird???????

  • Hey, you can buy emu oil on ebay. I got a really good deal. two 8oz botles for $25. great deal for an awesome product. the Shipping was free. I use it for my scalp and my eczema patches on my skin and I have seen a drastic improvement. Way better than anything the doc ever prescribed. I hope this helps.

  • @ejballard76522 who did you buy it from on Ebay?

  • What a great video you´ve made!! Many thanks for taking the time to do it And by the way, I love the earrings and the make up!!

  • u can get the emu oil on ebay.

  • The same thing happen to my edges. Currently I'm doing an oil challenge (Since Jan. 2011). One side I'm using wild growth and the other side I'm using Jamacian Black Castor oil. I have seen some growth but I also stimulate my root also, Remember to stimulate your scalp. Your edges look okay. Do you have current pics. of your edges?

  • Thanks for the advice my edges are gone due to too tight braids

  • This is great i'm gonna try it. And let ya know how it turns out!

  • Whenever my edges get weak I rub a bit of vitamin E oil on them. As they start growing I braid or twist them out of the way so I wont be tempted to manipulate them. Hope that helps!

  • How long did it take to get your edges to grow back so fast?

  • Hi...I'm in the Chicagoland area, and I can't find where to get the Emu Oil from!!! Do you have a website that you bought it from???

  • Im going to see if I can find Emu oil Thanks!

  • I know I'm kinda late viewing this video but. im a teenager and im trying to grow out my hair but also my edges. i wear braids and ponytails (i have too) or straighten it sometimes. but im tired of having short hair so i wanna grow it out but anyway, the burnt sugar palmade oil- can you use it as a replacement of black gel to use when you put a ponytail in? please help, :)

  • @sallycooper54 no hun, that pomade will not serve as a gel. You can try the eco styler gel with olive oil, that holds pretty. well. The ponytails and braids can harm your edges because of too much pulling. Try making your pony's looser.

  • @tangyboo08 aww thank u sweetie!!!

  • ok so i have the same issue with my edges like it's really bad....but whenever i put moister at night and wrap my hair with whatever type of scarf its dried out by morning like extremely dry.

  • @becxstanator08 use a satin bonnet instead and turn it inside out

  • Yes Emu Oil works Great! It is also sold at health food stores.

  • I recently discovered Eucalyptus oil which has also helped my edges grow

  • How long do you keep the castor/ emu oil on? Do you wash it out in the morning?

  • @apacur I do not wash it.. I just let it stay in because it absorbs into my skin and the next day my scalp is dry however, you can do what works for your hair

  • Girl, I'm so glad your shared your tips..

    Bless your heart.

  • girl, I'm so glad you shared this vid....

    Bless your hear.

  • Where can i buy emu oil

  • @DevohnJ The Vitamen Shoppe or online

  • would this work on panish or white people hair?

  • @ChristianAndreCruz of course :) It may be a little too thick or greasy though (the jamacian black castor oil)

  • Damn, your name sounds delicious.

  • whats the name of that emu oil

  • can you put down the name of that pomade pls!

  • @MyLolita11 Burnt Sugar Pomade :)

  • do u still use perm

  • @Cutesxox noooo but y do u ask?

  • Watching your video has really renewed my hope on growing my edges. I was becoming so discouraged, but I will definitely be trying the emu oil. I already use home health castor oil daily, and I notice a thickening, but still have these enormous (to me) holes. Thanks for this post! Do you have an e-mail address? Is there anyway I cab send u a pic of my thinning edges? I just need a 4th opinion, lol, on if you think they will grow.

  • @Nataboop oh thank you dear, I know how u feel..and yes my e-mail is on my homepage. Try the emu and see if you notice any growth :)

  • do u wrap your hair at night @MissCinnamonCake

  • @94ashabrown yes mam :)

  • Very inspirational. I have the same trouble with my edges. And i've been using the Jamaican Black Castor oil and it's really helped alot. It's filling in so much. I think i'll also try the emu oil!!

  • hi, is the burnt sugar pomade the same consistency as murrays hair wax? or is it more softer?

  • @TashurRaquel it is a little softer and has better ingredients

  • @MissCinnamonCake

how often do you wash ur hair wid shampoo and what shampoo do u use... p.s excellent vid..

  • Thanks for the info about emu oil. I didn't know that it was sold at Vitamin Shoppe. I am definitely going to look into that.

  • love the vid, but may i add thinning edges is called temporal alopecia. I is caused by over manipulating witch cause hair loss. So the less you do to the edges the better. Oh love the flower.

  • @mizstarr1 hey pretty thang, yeah u know, I went to my doctor (actually a few) and talked to them and they said it wasn't. So I kinda ruled that out and stuck to my method and thats when I started seeing results. But yes, a lot of the time, thats what it can be :)

  • @MissCinnamonCake Thanks so much for sharing your regime. I am in the same boat. Please let me know who is the pomade by and can I purchase at any hair supply store or can I order it? Thanks so much

  • @2luvis2live No problem babe..the pomade is by Oyin Handmade. I don't use it as much now though. NOw I will just put jamacian black castor oil as a gel because it holds it very well and I will use the eco styler with olive oil when needed. the smell of the pomade was just too sweet for me at times :) I hope the method works for ya. If not, I've heard a lot of wonderful things about Mega Tek as well. kisses!!

  • i am going to gnc tomorrow to find that emu oil. i have the jbc already and I have seen some results. hope i have the same or at least a similiar result as you. and btw, your makeup looks flawless.

  • @aTsBg21 yeah, the jbcois great

  • where can i get emu oil & jamaican castor oil?

  • I just brought the Black Jamaican Castor Oil today. Is it to heavy to apply on yr entire scape? I have very soft and fine hair. Not sure if it

s going to weight it down if I try on entire scape.

  • @SLIMWITHABS umm no it is not too heavy for that. But don't do it everyday because it is so thick. Do it maybe once a week since your hair is so thin

  • How long was is before you saw results??

  • @datkam23 I would say about a month

  • Do you just rub it in the hairline area every night? then massage it??

  • @VictoriaLykeRocks yes I do

  • @VictoriaLykeRocks

do you have to use it every night to see results? cause i find it makes my hair greasy alot? :)

  • emu oil is cheaper online i bought mine from ebay and i live in the uk and the pp wasnt expensive, and your pretty and your tips are helpful xx

  • Love the earrings!

  • i know righ it's nice 2 know tht someone had this same promblem as meh u know like when i og 2 school people wll maekf un of meh all the time i try 2 stay strong but it's not like tht all of the time you know, but i am like ball headed on my edges i have really nothing if u was 2 see my edges u wood scream i hate em ty 4 helping meh u r 1 pretty gurl

  • I have used castor oil on my edges too, helps slick them down. I have not tried emu but I may try it on the crown of my head which has become my problem area- this wasnt always the case. I love coconut oil as prepoo. I do half n half coconut and evoo (extra virgin oilive oil) ,, abit of castor and some essential oils for prepoo and as a sealant. I have recently purchased neem oil, havent used it yet.lol x

  • One of my friends recommend this video because I am trying to grow my edges back. I just ordered both oils last night and you are right, it is expensive, however, to get results I will pay the price. I cannot wait until I receive them. In the meantime, I will be using regular Castor Oil. I have not had any trouble with gels drying out my edges. I use the EcoStyler Olive Oil Gel and I love it! Great video. I will let you know my results after using it for a while. Thank you!

  • your aint never lie...EMU oil is the business!!...my edges grow so fast using it but i mixed it with a few other oils too..u totally just inspired me too make a new video.

  • @aprilcat02 lol go on girl! :)

  • i dont have money to spend on all tht emu stuff so i just use castor oil every night !! only will tht help cuhs i need em to grow :(

  • @afrika201111 sweetie, castor oil will work too, just be patient and don't do anything to undo all of your work

  • you're a total cutie

  • Hi, just had to come by and tell you that since watching this vid a few weeks ago, I started massaging my edges with a mixture of castor oil and argan oil, and girl, it's working for me too!! My edges are coming back in and I am sooooo happy. I only noticed it this weekend and I bounced all over the bathroom (no mean feat with boobs this size girl LOL LOL).

Thanks so much for making this video!! Please keep on making them.!!

    Much love.

  • WHERE CAN I GET ALL OF THIS OIL? HELP=(

  • @Djussy831 well most of them you get get from these places:

    -Grocery store (olive, grapeseed)

-Vitamen Shop (Castor, Coconut, Emu and Essential Oils)

    -Trader Joes (Vitamen E)

    - Online (Jamacian Black Castor Oil)

    Hope that helps mama

  • im so glad to hear there is something that can help me and my edges..mine is a nightmare...just little hair there....thank god i ran across ur video...ur makeup is beautiful!! : )

  • I've heard of the Emu oil & great growth results.

But I've also heard WONDERFUL things about castor oil for growth, especially for thinning areas of your hair. I also read that it works well to smooth the hair cutiful!

I like the Oyin Handmade brunt sugar pomade for my 2 strands, haven't used it on my edges.

I recently started using a mix of aloe vera gel & castor oil to smooth my edges...LOVE IT!

  • This was the very first time that Ive viewed a video about EDGES!! I too had a problem with my edges for years. Weaves and braids were the cause of the hair loss.....I had to feel comfortable with my edges before even wearing my twa in public. I simply used Let's Jam every single night. This worked for me : ) Thanks so much for your tips!

  • @MoNaturalButterfly Intresting... so why did u use lets jam? to slick down your edges for the next day?

  • @MissCinnamonCake That was my nightly regimen. Cant wait to try the Emu oil!! Great tips. Im learning about my hair by trial and error : )

  • lol, i just messaged you about edges.

  • @SimplyJoy18 I know lol, I hope the video answered your questions

  • Thank for making this video!!!! What bran of EMU oil is that and can it be purchased online?

  • Thank you for making this video but is there a WEBSITE I can go on to get the EMU oil!!!!! No vitiman stor in my area..... unless its in GNC.... but I doubt it

  • @GLAMOROUS843 oh yeah? what is the name of the website? and you're welcome

  • Thanks for the information!

  • I HAVE BEEN CONCENTRATING ON MI GIRLS EDGES SINCE JUNE 10' GOT AN IDEA FROM FB FRIEND... I MIX MI JBCO / ALOE VERA JUICE IN SM SPITZ BOTTLE AND SPRAY MI LIT ONES EDGES EACH NITE AND TIE WITH SATIN SCARF....FROM NO EDGES TO ENUFF EDGES NOW TO PUT IN RUBBER BANDS:) SOO HAPPI LOL I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE EMU OIL SINCE I TRIED HEALTHYHAIR JOURNEY PRODUCTS BUT JUST HAVE NOT PURCHASED...I WILL NOW THANKS TO UR REVIEW ...STAY BLESSED

  • You got great results!! Go you!! Castor oil with Argan oil (also known as maroccan oil) works as well. I don't know if argan oil might be a bit cheaper for you guys (I live in Europe). Emu oil can smell, but you can add a few drops of lemon essential oil (or orange oil or whatever you want) to it and create a nicer smell.

  • @SueLocd I think I will go ahead and try the argan oil...it sounds good...thank you <3

  • emu oil is a fat derived from the emu bird by way of liposuction. hhg

  • @myzleelee lol that sounds gross but it works!

  • Congrats on your progress take care & God Bless.

  • That emu oil STINKS!!! I went into a vitamin store and luckily there was a bottle with no seal. (Most products that smell bad, tend to have a protective seal) I could not get that horrid scent off my hand for a verrrry long time. Using soap and lotion did not help at all. BUT, I am happy that you found something that you can stand the scent off and seems to work. I going to try just using peppermint and/or lavender essential oil mixed with jojoba oil.

  • @TaShar16 lol it does? I can't smell a thing... thats funny.. It has no odor to me.. but the castor oil does smell..and thank you girly, yeah that will work too but maybe use the peppermint oil with castor

  • I know my edges were gone too from childbirth, the perms, and when I would get braids they would come out around my edges. But thankfully they are grown in now, I used hemp seed oil. I stopped for a while, but I used it every now and then now. And yes Emu oil is SOOO expensive, but I want some LOL. Great progress!!

  • @757chaneal oh really? I didnt evem know that could happen... and i haven't tried hempseed oil...but if it works, then keep it up girl..and try the emu if you can :)

  • cool, i use the emu oil too in my conditioners, and yes it's expensive.

ummm, never thought about trying it on my edges, gonna have to try it.

    ur eye makeup looks good.

  • @aquariouschic thats right, I saw it in your video!! And yes girl, it works on your edges. And thank you

  • you look soooo cute!!!!

  • @sbbriley lol thank u

  • How long have you been using the oils?

  • @karmethiat I have used them for going on 3 months now

  • Thanks for the tips my edges are ridiculously embarrassing too. ps I love your makeup in this video. What is the EMU oil?

  • @chanille88 you're welcome and thank u dear. Emu oil is an oil thats derived by the emu bird. I got mine from the vitamen shop
