  • @TaskMaster619 It is a Union Jack that's what the flag is called.

  • @TheSpudinkski

No, it's not. It's only a Union Jack when it's at sea- on land it's the Union Flag...

  • Wow thats so good. 10/10

  • Jim Lee-Stinks is more like it

  • You are retarded.

  • your mother, fanboy

  • your sisters dad's mom's son son

  • you're a moron and it shows ; )

  • I know lots of many things. Like stuff..

    You're a turdeater.

  • and that's all you need to know to get through in life, little feller.

*pats you on the head as your tongue hangs slack from your mouth*

  • ok, ok... Anyways you have to admit, Jim Lee does draw really well. I don't feel he is as good as Turner or Hughes but he is someone to look for in the industry and learn from. Also I would have to say for you to say he sucks means you are better- so are you?

  • I think he's great!

  • Jim is awesome, i feel hes a bit burnt out after all these years in comics and maybe spend more time doing other things besides draw full books like just doing covers. Overall, hes very deserving of his top 10 status as a comic book artist. and will always be one of my favorites. Wish I could meet him before he retires or expires.

  • This man taught me how to draw without ever meeting me.

  • @Zawan You and me both.

I'd love to meet him and just say "Thank you."

  • what pen he use plz tell me ?

  • a rapidograph and a 102 crowquill pen

  • Even more important: He uses F lead.

  • what are croco pens? I've used rapidographs before but was curious about the croco pens.

  • its a "102 crowquill pen"... and its a messy pen that you have to dip in ink

  • what's a white out pen? just a pen with white ink? i've been trying to find something similar over here in ireland but most products usually go by a different name

  • Practice makes perfect. He clearly put those words into actions. :D

  • *bows* i am not worthy!lol

  • co-sign. he puts me to shame! haha

  • he's the best i'v seen

  • agreed he made the record for the most money made from a single comic book

    which was x-men no.1

so i salute you j. lee

  • he's a master of comic art

  • Surprisingly, a lot of his techniques are similar to how I developed, despite formal training. Unfortunately, my results haven't been quite as successful. Wish I'd had access to this kind of stuff as a kid.

  • The funny thing I also start inking at the eyebrows, even though I have never saw hiw inking stuff before. I think Jim Lee's chicks are the most prettiest looking chicks in comicdom.

  • Jim Lee is God Lee!!

  • interesting stuff

  • This is the way to really learn this medium; watch a master do it in front of you. I wish he explained the type of pencil lead and inking pens he likes to use. So many artists dont even mention that stuff.

  • He says, "The marker I'm using actually, it's a Fine Point Uni Ball and it has permanent ink it: it does not fade, it does not turn yellow. I wouldn't use it for profesisonal inks--use a Hunt's 102 Crow Quill pen or a Rapidograph with india ink--but for sketching, for design work, these are great. Permanent ink, like I said, very transportable and they give you a pretty good line."

He also mentioned a brush and a white-out pen.
