It seems this scene where Jaws shakes his head at 3:03 has been cutted out of the film. I´ve never seen it in the movie. Pity!

Yes, Jaws only shakes his head in this commertial, not in the movie, but they often do it like that, to make a short thrilling story, or trailers :)

Just to add, in teasers and so, at least for Bond, sound is often added. I guess for a more "kicking" teaser, but too much for an whole movie with it`s structure or so. Wish my English was better though :)

They had gr8 ideas in those early Bond movies. Early Bond movies always seemed funny in a way, especially when Bond said something after he killed somebody.

That is true, like the 1977 Star Wars, and at at the end, the "man versus machine" idea is taken from there. The movie was choosen to be made, bechause of the enourmous popularity of Star Wars. If you look at the end credits of The Spy Who Loved Me, you can read, "but james Bond will be back in For Your Eyes Only. But that one came after this one, in 1981. Lovely movies all of them :)

Actually, on 2nd though Moonraker is not one of the best, but at the same time not one of the worst. Moonraker and Live and Let Die in my opinion are Moore's so&so 007 performances.

no. nightfire like agent under fire and everything or nothing were sortof like their own games. nightfire has a space level or 2 but is not based on moonraker.

Moonraker was a great James Bond movie and i'll prove it:

1)Holly Goodhead-Tell me with a straight face you wouldn't hit that. Defining Dialog:"James, take me around the world one more time."

2)Jaws, freelance giant metal-mouthed psychopath that Bond tried to kill numerous times and failed. Defining Dialog: "Well, here's to us."

3)Orbital Laser Tag War-You get to see space marines fight Drax's Super Race in low Earth Orbit! Pew, pew, pew, pew!

4)The Plot: The murder of all life on Earth.

@001989 Although I've enjoyed all of the Bond films (Yes, I'm a fanatic), this was one of the weaker ones. Too much like, in what author John Brosnan (no relation to Pierce), said in his book 'James Bond and the Cinema," an "expensive slapstick comedy." That was the problem with most of the Moore Bonds, way too much emphasis on the gadgets and gags, Thank goodness, when John Glen took over directing duties starting with FOR YOUR EYES ONLY (my fave Moore 007), the Moore played it more seriously.
