Do you know anything about hex editing? You have to repoint the data if you want to add them without messing stuff up. It's probably more trouble than it's worth, might aswell stick to what you got.
Yeah, it's entirely too easy to over-write data in SMILE.
You probably need to learn how to hex-edit if you want to get serious about a hack anyway. I use one called HxD but there's others. You might want to get a program named Lunar Address too, these programs speak in hexidecimal and you need to convert it.
What I mean by convert is from say $90C28F to $08:428F or 08428F, you would then need to find that number in the hex editor and change whatever values you want, say A0 to B5 or something like that. I know I'm probably speaking gibberish, but once you open it, you'll see where I'm coming from.
I forgot to mention, how do you add PLM's?

Also, before you even start hex-editing, make sure to remove the header from your rom, it's an option you can do in SMILE.
