@1FoRa The engine was designed by volvo in cooperation with ford... ford and volvo are swapping engine bases and basegroups since volvo is a part of the ford motor company. You cant really say it's a volvo cause the parts which made this motor 300bhp or in this case 350bhp where designed by ford

And I'm tellin you these boys ain't puttin no ford parts on a fuckin volvo. The motor is known as a T5R. Them bitches have been around since the 90's. Jus cuz they put a ford badge on in 2009 doesn't mean that they all the sudden are developin high quality parts for a motor that is 15 years old and been refined and tuned to death by Swedes. @joeypatterson566 STI is a bad platform, for power. Yes the CG is lower but the engine is a pain to work on. To produce anything above 450HP the entire engine needs to be ripped apart. Thies inline blocks EVO/RS/Supra ect... are bulit proof, stock internals are good for upwords of 800.

This Focus has nothing to do with America - hence why it's a state of the art machine. The engine derive from the early 90s Volvo 850 straight 5, this one in the video above is European Ford developed S60 Volvo 2.5L straight 5 engine. For me personally, only the new RS3 Sportback is a better car in its class. The RS3 is too 2.5-liter five-cylinder and yes you don't get that in America too.
