  • I know about the Damrosch opera but never heard a note of it, naturally.

  • Amazing, thank you!

  • He sings everything reansposed down! He's a real "trans"!

  • This production is a bad copy of the Alagna brothers' previous production!!

This is such a shame for a big theatre like La Scala or Metropolitan, and a huge dissapointment for such a famous stage director like Zambello! Have a look at Roberto Alagna's DVD.

  • BEAUTIFUL !

  • asolutely true!

  • Musicality is the key not the pronunciation and placido has it in spades!

  • Just amazing. Thank you very very very much!

  • I saw that in 1913, with Pasquale Amato on title role, THE MET made the world premiere of another Cyrano, composed by W. Damrosch-W. J. Henderson. Anyone knows a thing about this other opera?

  • So! Our darling knows one end of a sword from the other! He doesn't fool around with this part any more, even though his fencing instructor made him look good.

  • Wonderful! Thank you sooooo much for sharing. Please, upload more, if you can!
