I STILL use a 2n gen iPod nano. I don't go out very often and just use it for bus trips. (which is why I never invested in any other kind of mobile device).

However, I have to say, this (now 4 yr old) 2 gig nano has done me proud! In all my history of radio or cassette walkmans, etc... this has been the BEST little portable music device I've ever owned. I have had little issues with it, and really don't want to part with it!

As a mac head I dont really know much about regular computers anymore. Would you have any recommendations? Its mostly just gonna be for regular internet and word processors, but reliable and stuff too.

@cotyslick Yea but anti-virus programs aren't perfect. I got a virus on my PC about a year ago that was BAD....I honestly don't know how I got it either, because I don't download stuff or click on stupid ads and stuff. But I ran 3 different virus scans and they couldn't even find it, the virus would not allow you to open any applications or use anything. I had to do a system restore and revert back to the last time it saved. about a month earlier.

@conn0r644 yeah that happens but if its that hardcore it could have been a hacker attack, just saying they can steal all of your data very easily if you can run any programs and anti-virus programs cant really protect against hackers. change your ip address often, all i can say to prevent it. btw avast antivirus is the best ive ever used :)
