Shimkus writes in an original style, overcoming ithe hard challenge of combining creative harmonics with lyric melodies rather than atonal chaos... I feel familiar with his style; It is the style in which I personally aspire to write in, and I salute him for his accomplishment.

While I began sketching my very own piano concerto half a year ago, I've put it on the shelf until I am older and have a more mature understanding of music. Until then, Shimkus will advocate this style in my absence.
