  • Beautiful runs!!!

  • very nice, well done :)

  • For jumping issues...have you tried working through Linda Mecklenergs Jumping book?? It's excellent at re-training dogs who jump improperly and tend to knock bars. My school uses it for all their foundation work. Great video, congrats on a good weekend!!

  • We have gone through months and months of specific jump training (and continue to do it now). She has the skills and is actually a great jumper - but like some people's contacts, her trouble is applying those skills in a trial environment.

You know, it's the good ol' "but she does it great at home!" story =)

  • This is adorable and inspiring and warrants more than 5 stars!!! :-)

  • she is really fast and tallented youhave traind her really well! :)

  • This is wonderful! Dazzle has got to be one of the fastest dogs I have ever seen. Great!!

  • Wow! You two are amazing. Dazzle is loving every second of her runs. You both make a great team. Thumbs up to you guys.

  • WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I loved every second of this video! For some reason, the picture seems clearer, and I can see dazzle better...I don't know why though. Amazing speed! I love how she goes in between your legs when you two get ready to start.

What's YPS? Loved your tunnel runs too! I loved 'em all!!!

  • What's funny about her start - I used to have to tell her to do that, but now she does it on her own. In classes if I am standing talking to our instructor, she will be trying to get between my legs to set up! Silly girly!

YPS is Yards Per Second. I can use the numbers to not only see how fast she is running, but also how efficiently she ran the course (so a wide turn would lower the YPS, even if her ground speed was the same)

  • just awesome!!!

  • Amazing...as usual! :-)

  • Awesome job! She flys through those tunnels!

  • Awesome runs Dazzle!! I saw the difference in the jumps =) ~Heather and Jesse~

  • Slowly but surely will pay off in the end... Jump work is never easy. Its great that you are working on it with her. So many people neglect to fix jumping problems... and it looks like she is catching on very quickly!! She is such a wonderful dog and you are doing a fantastic job! Keep it up!

  • Awesome runs! Once she gets her deceleration down pat she won't knock bars! I saw how well it worked in a few of the runs, you guys are awesome!

  • Nice runs!!

From looking at the video, most of Dazzles dropped bars come from her taking off too soon. I watched the second chances in slow motion and the first bar drop was because she took off too soon (6.54 )... Easy enough for you to work on. You guys are a great team!

  • Thanks!

The chances bar was really my fault. If I take off running right when I release her, she takes the first bar because she races off without really thinking. If I wait until she takes off before I start running, she jumps the first bar well (so far that's worked 100% of the time).

Here she was doing early take offs but in classes (of course...) when we really analyze her jumping she drops them for various reasons. Thankfully she is improving with all the jump training...slowly but surely!

  • GREAT job!! You two are just great together!!!!

  • Great runs Dazzle & Kat. The tunnel runs were pawsome:)! That looked like so much FUN:)! 5*****!

    Happy Clicking,

    Ashley & Kaine

  • Woah, look at Dazzle go! She's AMAZING! I think her favourite runs are those tunnelers runs. Almost 8 YPS??? That dog is Speedy! Awesome job Kat and Dazz.

  • Your distance control is out of this world. Courses in the UK tend to be tight not to much distance control is needed. Very well trained you make a fantastic pair.

  • Great job Kat and Daz! She goes so fast though those tunnels:) Those courses looked incredibly fun. Who was the judge?

Were you trying a bonus line on that first Chances run?

  • Thanks! Jeff Riedl was our judge...I think some of the courses were Arlene's.

We aren't doing bonus lines very often, if at all these days - I prefer running with her. I just get more enjoyment out of it. On the Chances run it took awhile for the previous dog to get leashed up so we had to wait, then when I took off running she was just naughty and broke her start. :)

  • Do you know the names of the course sets? Could you private message me if you do?

  • Wow! fantastic runs! Those tunnelers runs were my favorite, Dazzle is so fast! you guys make such a great team, your handling really inspires me lol. I even noticed in some places where she applied the jumping that you were teaching her, keep it up! she will be doing it to every jump soon ^_^.

  • Dazzle is amazing!!! She is just... incredible! and also: AWESOME HANDLING!!! If me and my Border Collie (who I am getting this summer!) turn out half as good as you guys I will be completely happy :)

  • once again AMAZING handling.. If Get to be half as good lol i'll be happy :P

Love the tunnelers runs, I wish we had that over here :( oh well!!

  • Really nice runs with Dazzle...she's a cutie!

  • Wow i love watching Dazzle run! Shes amazing! Great job :)

  • Awesome runs! :)

  • Beautiful runs! Mostly the tunnelers at the end though... Daz looks go great! You to are the perfect team. :D

  • Woo hoo go Dazzle! She is so fast and incredible to watch!!
