That's a Bowie song: "Can't Help Thinking About Me".
"Question-time that says
I brought dishonor
My head's bowed in shame
It seems that
I've blackened the family name
Mother says that
she can't stand the neighbors' talking"
Obviously tacked on to Bowie's "Fashion" riff.
Mark Stewart's got one of the most fabulously explosive voices ever. I would like to see him get perpendicular with it again, and not any of this one-story linear pub-riffing groove-along-a crap.
This track is called "Shame", the performance they done in London was slightly better than this I reckon, because Skip McDonald stuck more closely to the riff on the LP, i.e. the guitar bit went like this
Saw the band the other week in London at the Royal Festival Hall. It was a terrible venue for a great set, I was actually told to go and sit down even tho Mr Stewart explicitly asked the audience to get out of their seats and get moving, sitting in a classical venue and watching this was like being hit with a really expensive dead fish. But then they played out the foyer which was more of a laugh.
