dude the secret switch is in the beginning of the slide instead of going straight to the slide go to the back left corner of the room and you'll see the blue coin switch.
Oh,And if you Reverse the L hedge in the Right way it Looks like a V,And I have no idea if there is a Hidden character In the game that has a name that starts with a v xD

2/4/01 was the planned release of Paper Mario. The plaque on the statue ACTUALLY says:
"L is real 2401
in paper M"
Which is saying: "Luigi is in Paper Mario! coming out 2/4/01!".
The plaque is in OOT because they used a heavily edited SM64 engine to make OOT, so they re-used some textures.
The plaque is in SM64DS cuz it was in the original SM64 and they wanted to make SM64DS look the same as SM64.
Waluigi is not in SM64DS and Luigi is not in SM64, so stop looking for them!
