I want to know why we recognized a Fascist overthrow of the Honduran Government. I want to know what part we played in the attempted coup of Chavez, and the truth of Aristide's coup...er, rescue.

Then Bush Sr. got in power, and like so many other 3rd World Countries, Honduras was forced to start devaluating it's currency against the $U.S. Through forced devaluations by the U.S. Federal Reserve, through it's underlings - The World Bank, and IMF, the Lempira went from 2 Lempira to $1 pre-1988 to 11 to $1 by 1997, to 19 Lempiras to $1 today. Salaries have not kept up in the 3rd World devaluation.
