Headless baby scene was the only disturbing part for me. Rest of the "film" was just boring. Serbian Film, 120 days of sodom and holocaust are much better and shocking movies in my opinion.

After all, they wouldn't dare to hurt themselves or eachother, they're just stars in a movie. You can fuck a split wide open guts or a corpse in a tub, or force a guy to cut off his penis, but you can't punch your fellow actor. This movie is a total fucking piece of shit. Horrible script, horrible acting. The dialogue consists mostly of swearing, screaming and laughing. The fact that it's portrayed as a "realistic snuff" makes it all the more laughable. It's like faking that you're drunk. They're not really hurting anyone, so who cares? It's made to look real, but you know that it's not. I watched it just out of curiosity, and it's worthless. All the emos who get off watching this should kill themselves before killing

People don't get the point of Fred Vogel making August Underground. It's basically about serial killers and it shows that murders are ALWAYS DIRTY AND NEVER PRETTY. It also shows how sick people in the world can be and the movie wants you to be afraid of them (I'm fucking scared, TBH). It shows that ANYONE can be a serial killer in public and you won't know it...AU was about the characters starting to kill, Mordum was a killing spree, and Penance is the bad results of the killings.
