Drumachter station is in scotland stainmore summit was higher at 1270 ft both lines not classed as main line like this one

I loved the scenic Settle and Carlisle route and how Microsoft showed it in its glory days. I just wish that I could play it on Vista.

A DMU? I thought they showed a Class 47 at the beginning. The loco-hauled days are also long lamented though.

A great clip..Brilliant!! Having worked on the S & C myself and in particular the famous Ribblehead Viaduct in Oct 1989 in the wind & gales, i have can still feel that night watching this clip..
