  • im all for indie rock and experimental, but this sucks in my oppinion they apear to be good musicians but it's stupid as hell that they are playing this lame bullshit

  • At most of the concerts I've been to the audience rarely moves for the opening acts no matter how good they are. Thats just my experience though.

  • Deerhoof's so much fun! Yeah!

  • That would be an awful crowd for any remotely intimate band to play to. Stadiums are just to big to get a real experience.

  • what a shitty motionless audience

  • no....the yeah yeah yeahs get a big no no no from me---

    these guys are hep

  • except for the fact that deerhoof were making noise records when the yeah yeah yeahs were in highschool listening to A.F.I.

  • There's nothing strange about them.

  • Deerhoof is a strange band. But I love them.

  • Your obviously deaf.

  • You should be.... having to sit through this.

  • I guess now you're getting the attention you always wanted

  • I made that comment seven months ago and since then I have listened to OK computer and earlier albums and I was wrong. Way wrong.

  • whats the set list here ?

  • it's such a shame this performance was wasted at a shitty radiohead show, where almost no one would appreciate it. :(

  • smh elitists...

  • holy shit. deerhoof and radiohead? must have been an amazing show

  • it puzzles me so much why there is so many "fuck deerhoof" comments.

why the fuck did you watch the video then and write this?

deerhoof are great. greg saunier is one of the best drummers ive seen since zach hill.

radiohead and deerhoof are my no.1 favourite bands so this would have been a wet dream lineup.

  • Well i've seen it as a link from some deerhoof video on the line up of the youtube homepage. Then after seeing a deerhoof image link on the side of the right screen i click on it. Come on! You should now that!

  • I saw them live on last wednesday.

    it's spectacular.

  • It must say something when Radiohead and The Flaming Lips Request you to open for them. Just saying....

and this band is amazing. I love noise

  • Deerhoof is effing RAD!

  • favorite work of abstract art.

  • some people just don't notice art, even if it jumps around in front of them singing "bunny bunny bunny"

  • that is quotable

  • You sir, are a genius.

  • word.

  • their pretty goood!

  • they're pretty good live.

    i love deerhoof[:

  • I saw deerhoof at coachella and was repulsed! but and my friend (same one who introduced me to radiohead, loved them!) and after I gave them a chance, I love them! I was at this show, and they where both great

  • she remids me of yoko ono so much, shes just sooooo much better

  • hope they come back to toronto soon. they fucking rule!

    thanks for putting this up.

  • you wanna like go wack off to nickleback or something?

  • and what the fck do you listen to?

    shit??

if so, then you are far more terrible

and should be shot through the head and

left out there to die until some animals

    eat your fucked up carcass.

  • Very clever replies. I love getting 12 year olds mad on the internet.

I saw this band live at coachella. WOW, easily the WORST band I've ever heard.

Nickelback sucks but compared to Deerhoof they look like musical savants.

  • and what are you ten? im sixteen to be exact. but i just think that i'll let this one pass. after going through french tests and chemistry quizzes, i'll let this one settle. while i mourn for you. i'll just say 'suit yourself' cos nothing has pissed me off today.
  • Deerhoof > Radiohead

  • I hate her

  • its not like she likes you either.

go masterbate in a church, fucker!

  • I saw them live on 10/28/06 in Buffalo, NY. Trust me, they're doing just fine without Chris Cohen. :-P

  • I hadn't heard their music before seeing them live, and I love them now.

I'm ecstatic I got to see them and Radiohead twice :)

  • it's beyond you applenut....

  • I'm one of the biggest Radiohead fans you'll ever meet (or not meet)... and I freaking love deerhoof.

  • Dig the Bay fog rolling in! Wonder how many of the Radiohead contingent get Deerhoof. Even though they hail from directly across the bay, I bet many were scratching their heads. Regardless, Deerhoof is one of the most innovative/creative bands out there. It's unfortunate Chris left, as Satomi is now shouldered with bass when live. She seems to break free when allowed to roam and the tambourine is a major sound force in their early stuff. A must-see; more conducive to small clubs, however.

  • Great band. Loads o' fun. Bunny bunny bunny bunny bunny, bunny.

  • This is REALLY cool. I had a great time there, although now I've forgotten it.

  • Well, actually I couldn't help but notice that MANYPEOPLE were totally into Deerhoof in the above clip. But I know its very common for some folks to totally "hate" some type of unique and complex music before seeing the light one day and then converting into total hard-core fans! Especially after they break through! Here is a very recent and significant article on Deerhoof : http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/news/36310/Bassist_Guitarist_Chris_Cohen_Quits_Deerhoof#36310

    Happy Reading! :O)

  • I had to endure them opening for Radiohead and I got to say that it was the worst half hour of my life EVER!! Just Terrible!!! And to those say they will rise highger and gain popularity in the future....well since they came out in the nineties TODAY is fute and they still suck!!!! The person at their label Kill Rock Stars should have started with Dearhoof....or is it Mooseknuckle??? Who the hell cares!!!!

  • DeerHoof is one of the most creative and talented bands to come out of the nineties. Period. And despite their recent loss of Mr. Chris Cohen, DeerHoof will definitely continue to rise even higher and higher and get much more popular in the future! No doubt. THIS MAGNIFICENT BIRD WILL RISE!!!!

  • I really hope they can replace Chris Cohen...he had to leave right as soon as Deerhoof were about to take over the world

  • Sucks that they had to open for Radiohead of all bands, their fans are the snootiest in the world.

Double sucks that Chris Cohen left :(

  • Thats a pretty "snooty" thing to say.

  • no its not. its appropriate. now i'll smash you with me white gatsby glove!

  • applenut wins the prize for biggest moron to ever post a comment on you tube. deerhoof is one of the very best san francisco bands. ignorant jackass.

  • you say weird like it's a bad thing?

    DeerHoof 1#

  • This band is so...weird. :|

  • your usernames say it all (applenut & misguidedfool). deerhoof rocks

  • lol oh man a song about a bunny that night then about china then about doodoo dada!? what the hell!! scary!

  • This is the worst band I have ever seen play a major venue.

    Pathetic

  • For once you can Satomi. RadioHead is great but Deerhoof is my cup o tea

  • Haha! this band was so...funky. I was dying for Radiohead to come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
