im all for indie rock and experimental, but this sucks in my oppinion they apear to be good musicians but it's stupid as hell that they are playing this lame bullshit
Well i've seen it as a link from some deerhoof video on the line up of the youtube homepage. Then after seeing a deerhoof image link on the side of the right screen i click on it. Come on! You should now that!
I saw deerhoof at coachella and was repulsed! but and my friend (same one who introduced me to radiohead, loved them!) and after I gave them a chance, I love them! I was at this show, and they where both great
and what are you ten? im sixteen to be exact. but i just think that i'll let this one pass. after going through french tests and chemistry quizzes, i'll let this one settle. while i mourn for you. i'll just say 'suit yourself' cos nothing has pissed me off today.
Dig the Bay fog rolling in! Wonder how many of the Radiohead contingent get Deerhoof. Even though they hail from directly across the bay, I bet many were scratching their heads. Regardless, Deerhoof is one of the most innovative/creative bands out there. It's unfortunate Chris left, as Satomi is now shouldered with bass when live. She seems to break free when allowed to roam and the tambourine is a major sound force in their early stuff. A must-see; more conducive to small clubs, however.
Well, actually I couldn't help but notice that MANYPEOPLE were totally into Deerhoof in the above clip. But I know its very common for some folks to totally "hate" some type of unique and complex music before seeing the light one day and then converting into total hard-core fans! Especially after they break through! Here is a very recent and significant article on Deerhoof : http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/news/36310/Bassist_Guitarist_Chris_Cohen_Quits_Deerhoof#36310
I had to endure them opening for Radiohead and I got to say that it was the worst half hour of my life EVER!! Just Terrible!!! And to those say they will rise highger and gain popularity in the future....well since they came out in the nineties TODAY is fute and they still suck!!!! The person at their label Kill Rock Stars should have started with Dearhoof....or is it Mooseknuckle??? Who the hell cares!!!!
DeerHoof is one of the most creative and talented bands to come out of the nineties. Period. And despite their recent loss of Mr. Chris Cohen, DeerHoof will definitely continue to rise even higher and higher and get much more popular in the future! No doubt. THIS MAGNIFICENT BIRD WILL RISE!!!!

At most of the concerts I've been to the audience rarely moves for the opening acts no matter how good they are. Thats just my experience though.

Deerhoof's so much fun! Yeah!

That would be an awful crowd for any remotely intimate band to play to. Stadiums are just to big to get a real experience.

it's such a shame this performance was wasted at a shitty radiohead show, where almost no one would appreciate it. :(

deerhoof is awesome, and really charming I think.
but I think Radiohead is really just a bunch of gimmicks. pretty much every cd after Ok computer is just a bunch of gimmicks.

it puzzles me so much why there is so many "fuck deerhoof" comments.
why the fuck did you watch the video then and write this?
deerhoof are great. greg saunier is one of the best drummers ive seen since zach hill.
radiohead and deerhoof are my no.1 favourite bands so this would have been a wet dream lineup.

Very clever replies. I love getting 12 year olds mad on the internet.
I saw this band live at coachella. WOW, easily the WORST band I've ever heard.
Nickelback sucks but compared to Deerhoof they look like musical savants.
