Unfortunatly No, It made its debut on February 21, 2005, and the last episodes were screened on July 19, 2008...it finished a while before then but stretched the episodes within a 2 year bases!The series maintained its success during the second season, causing Nickelodeon to order a third and final season, which began on September 21, 2007 and featured twenty-one episodes rather than the usual twenty.The final four episodes were packaged as a two-hour movie.

1) That's Sozin's Comet Book. It has been yet to be confirmed that the story plot in the Sozin's Comet book will follow the actual animated Avatar story Line. Those are picture from the book.

2) In the book, it is Spirit bending. Not Energy Bending. Spirit bending allows the user to suck the enemy's Bending powers away.

Aang is the avatar, he'll find somebody as Roku quotes "...and being the avatar doesn't hurt your chances with the ladies." And Mai could get with that one guy for the beach...you know that guy who was flirting with her. I wouldn't be totally heart broken if Kataang happened, because Zutara will always be much much cuter in my opinion. But if Maiko happens I will seriously puke. In episode 6 of book 3, Avatar Roku shows Aang his life. Roku said that when you're young, love is hard. (he liked a girl but didn't have the courage to ask her out, like Aang) Roku then marries this woman when they both become adults. The writers might be trying to say something....

I'm sorry for everybody who enjoyed this book. But it's fake. The creators have said so themselves that not every page of the book is true in what will happen. As much as I would love to believe that this book is real, because it's so epic, it's not.

Yes, I heard that too. Some things are true, if only vaguely, and the rest is a bit made up. Note, why would the creators or Nick for that matter, ruin the series before the last episodes aired? It would decrease their ratings of viewers of the show and not to mention, disappoint the fans. Hell, I was greatly disappointed when I read the book because it seemed so...rushed. Did any else feel the same way? Also, it just felt fake. So I completely agree with you suppitySUP123.

Yes, that's EXACTLY what I felt. I felt like they over exagerated too. I felt they rushed the ending like it all happened so quick I had to re-read what happened because I got a bit confused. And as I said before I REALLY REALLY don't think they would ruin the ending for all those viewers. The fanbase would drop rapidly if it were real.

True. I had the exact same thoughts as you when I bought the book. I was like, "That's it? Is that all there is to it?" It just screamed to me FAKE. I expected Avatar to end with a BANG and a couple more plot twists as the creators have never ceased to produce. That is why I like Avatar. Well, some of it is real, but not alot of it. The creators and Nick did state that the book was vaguely true and based loosely on some of the past plans of ending this incredible series. Plus, why would they ruin the ending in a BOOK when it started on television? That is why I believe the book is fake, save for some info as I stated before. Also, it would explain the 9 month waiting trial for new episodes because they probaly changed the last episodes on a whim, making the book obsolete.

Okay, let me explain. The book 'Sozin's Comet" was released sometime in May, 'cause that's when the finale of avatar was supposed to end before it got pushed back to July. Basically, it's a children's book describing the last four episodes of Avatar, with descriptive illustrations, not screenshots. That's basically it, and you could probably buy it at your nearest bookstore too.
