I'm thinking of buying a harmonica but I'm confused about the Key of C harmonica. How do you get the G# out it? cuz I know Moore uses a lot of harmonic minor notes.

Impressive as always, Christelle. I thought I'd drop a note to you about the unfortunate loss of Gary Moore today. He was apparently found to have died in his sleep in a hotel in Spain. Another great one gone too soon. Parisienne Walkways has always been such a familiar tune to me, but I never realized from what genius it came until reading about Moore's death today. Sorry for the sad news.

Yes I've heard about his passing, that 's vey sad indeed. I hope he really died in his sleep and that he didn't know he was dying.

I don't think I'll come to SPAH this year, or the following ones, to far from Australia and SPAH will certainly not invite me again anytime soon....Thanks for you message anyway

Me, too. Growing older and living alone always puts that terrifying thought in the back of one's mind.

A shame you can't get to SPAH more easily or often. We all love to see and hear you play, but yeah, SPAH is quite a 'jaunt' from Oz. I may drive it this year, but even that will be 750 miles/15 hours or so. Will probably make it into a solo camping trip like I used to do! Good fun and saves a little dough! ;-)
