@dilligras He is certified by the DPS to instruct the course. The DPS has its policies about it and bottomline is he cannot deny to teach people based on the reasons he stated. He can have his instruction permit suspended or revoked for doing. I don't see how i give them a bad name. I have no aversion to weapons or people carrying said weapons.

For his part, he has stated in an interview that he will stop holding the classes before he will knowingly train any of the people he described. He is hampering the process for people to get a chl. If and when his license/certification is removed that would Not be denying other people the 2nd amendment right. They would have to follow the procedures outlined by the DPS same as Any instructor. Just because I want John Smith to teach me the course, if John smith is not certified to teach it then he cannot teach it. Its that simple.
