  • is it just me or did anyone else hear the jaws music in the trailer xx

  • This cheesy film was released on DVD last in a double feature with a late 80s water monster movie called Demon Of Paradise.

  • I have a movie poster for this actualy, my dad bought it from the theater in the town he grew up in....can't find a copy of the movie...

  • jaws on steroids?

  • Hawaiian coast guard at their finest with their mighty spears. And Susanne Reed with a white but not wet cloth striking a pose. Almost curious, not completely sold. All those ppl are running in the beach, because none had a cellphone.

  • @peposo7

it was 1979 of course they didnt have cell phones

  • Art,Dover,Prospect,President,Boulevard,Eagle,Cosmo,Kent, and other ghetto area theaters in NYC from way back. This even played on the original 42nd St.,too.

  • That thing isn't quite a shark it has a fish heax

  • "Run... get out of its way if you can!" Well, it's a shark. I'm off down the pub, that's probably out of its way.

  • Call me crazy but I'd much rather see a low budget monster movie like this than the carbon copy crap CGI SYFY crap that's being spewed out these days.

  • @SuperGamesLegend I would rather call you smart because 95% of us TRUE horror and sci-fi fans agree with you...CGI destroyed the industry!

  • @SuperGamesLegend I would rather see a good movie, no matter what year it's from.

  • 0:49 that's a pretty mean looking shark!

  • @cryptid85 Haha!As you can imagine, this film is just like Monster Shark..both are Jaws rip offs but they have nothing to do with sharks :P

  • @DVDRulers what is it suposed to be anyway?

  • @cryptid85 To be honest..I have no idea...whatever it is,its pretty awesome!

  • @DVDRulers yep, and at 0:55 you can see its 5 dorsal fins!

  • @cryptid85 Lol!Hell, its look better than anything I see in sea monster films these days!

  • @DVDRulers yeah, like Piranha 3-D. Well at least that one had Richard Dreyfuss

  • @cryptid85 Yeah,I remember seeing it first day it was out and hearing 'Show me the way to go home' and I laughed. His character was called Matt and he was even wearing the same outfit he wore in Jaws :P I didn't like Piranha 3D too much, kinda copied Killer Fish in a way and too much sex...like every other killer fish movie these days :P

  • @DVDRulers exactly; they're problly going to do a remake of Jaws, and if James Cameron directs it, I'm not even going to waste my time with it-Caneron will never be as good as Speilberg

  • @cryptid85 So true.Speilberg is an absolute legend!Ive never seen a Speilberg film I don't like.

  • @DVDRulers neither have I... but I didn't like Titanic, and call me crazy but I thought Avatar was just good special effects and no good directing

  • @cryptid85 I feel the same way about Avatar...Hell,I got bored half way through, but the CGI was amazing. The only Cameron film I like is Terminator...Titanic was alright, sad movie though.

  • @DVDRulers Terminator 1 & 2 were good... but the ice berg in Titanic looked like stirefoam in some shots!

  • @cryptid85 Lol!Talk about cheap!Seems Speilberg is the only director who can make anything look real!Along with Robert Zemickis.

  • @DVDRulers yep-like the Jaws shark, the Close Encounters Of The Third Kind aliens, E.T., ect.

  • @cryptid85 Yeah Jaws looked 100% real!I still have yet to watch Close Encounters :P

  • @DVDRulers Close Encounters is GREAT! Richard Dreyfuss is the star of it.

And Jaws really looked like a giant Great White-2 and 3 looked like monsters, and 4 had a tan from the Bahamas!
