  • Aleluias Louvado e engradecido seja o nome de Jesus

  • GLÓRIA A DEUS

  • wow, this was an amazing reenactment, but it's inconsiderate for the people to laugh when the drinker comes out because it is a real thing and a real problem.

  • i'd love to do this at my church <3

  • i like it it just needs a little provement but its awesome though comment me plezz :)

  • I did this skit with my church but my part was added in, when the guy that has the flower comes out to the girl and spins her around and then i come and snatch the flower away from the girl and steal her boyfriend

  • you guys are good

  • here is another version of a skit based on Underoath "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Other's Excape": youtube.com/watch?v=11zN1gbfpQs

  • i love dramas

  • we did one to but we put like cool lights and stuff like that. and also we had an angel that kept the bad people away (:

  • great job :)

  • This skit really reached out to me, emotionally, and it struck me hard, but in a good way! I used to be a cutter and tried making myself thinner by not eating at all, but that just got me no where. And when I saw this skit for the first time, i cried like a baby, and I just couldnt stop! its amazing what God can do! I am going to Peru next summer and they (this is my first time going! so excited!) do this skit everyday, and I feel that it would be a blessing if God let me be the main girl! NEAT!

  • I had an idea for this, because usually the main girl has a black shirt that gets torn away, well maybe she could be wearing two white shirts, and each bad guy that comes out smears like something black on the shirt, and by the end that shirt is gone and her clean white one is there, you know?? idk if its a good idea or not. but i thiought it would be cool. And i liked the way you guys did it :}

  • @grrimalionbaby that's a really neat idea....i like it!

  • @grrimalionbaby hey, i saw this act in the netherlands at a church. they did something like you said. first the girl had a white (sort of ) tshirt and pants. those pants and thisrt could be ripped of in 4 parts. after each bad thing, one part was ripped of. at the end, "God" took his cloak and put it on the girl. it was beautifull(and my first time seeing it)

  • i love God

  • I get chills everytime I watch this video

  • @jujuberry04 m2!

  • I love this!:)Congratulations to everyone,it was really touching and it is really nice to see youth doing this sort of thing..it is inspiring to many others:)My favourite part is when Jesus comes when we are about to fall apart because of our sins, and He comes and protects us showing His love for us...makes me feel really safe and loved:))

  • I loved that. I would like to see a cross on the stage since that is where the Lord fought the battle for us. :)

  • I really really liked the guy who played Jesus. He was really good.Great verison. We did or verison too. I liked it very much! Its a very touching skit. Keep it up!:D

  • no matter who does this skit it will be great...as long as the is Jesus is our savior it would be pretty hard to ruin since just that statement is touching=]

    Praise God<333

    Courtney=]

  • It's very good :) I really do like this drama and it tells people how life is...

  • Pretty well...!!! Gooood story and beautiful acting! :) Five Stars! :)

  • What I have noticed in this version:it's very evident that Lord Jesus fought her fight with the sins and engaged in the battle with all His beeing and resources to save girl's soul!I saw even that while the girl raised up and stood up ,while she was blossoming again in faith Lord Jesus faced the sins on the cross(it was so evident the position of the body's character as if it was hung up on a cross). When the girl was strong enough the Lord revealed Himself in the light ,as He is the light !

  • my drama team did this i cried when i saw it i figure tht it was me and i loved it its really powerful

  • it's really moving. . .

    i love this. . .

  • Is the main girl always have to be a girl..or could it be a guy??

  • i've seen it once with a guy. you just have to change a lot of things, like the body image thing was changed to weight lifting. be creative :)

  • really good. my church does that kinds stuff all the time and I'm deff gunna reccomend doing this one. the part where the girl throws the gun away is my fav part..god bless

  • I love this skit! The first time i saw it was at a youth group at church and i cried. we are doing this skit at my church and im very excited! u guys did a wonderful job!

  • its beautiful....

I have seen several version of this skit...done by different groups... all of them were beautiful :)

  • ♥♥♥

  • GreatVersion!!!!! Love this Drama sooo Much, So Inspiring. I cry everytime I watch it!

  • beautiful (:

  • who are the orginal of this skit.

  • This is pretty cool!

  • Wow that sent a chill up my spine! It was very powerful to me.

  • our school did this to o.o i didnt knew that haha o well i love it =3

  • This is a very dramatic skit. I saw it for the first time at a Church event and it made me cry so hard. The part I hate the most is the fighting bit, but the way the ninja guy just kept pulling her foot was quite comical xDD

  • Hey i would like some advise i am preforming this same skit at my school and i am the cutting/suicide part

do ya have any advice for that part or any of the parts for that matter

  • This was so great! My youth is doing this at a missions trip fundraiser in a month or so and I get to lead and direct it and I'm so excited! you guys did an amazing job! Great work. I'm praying for you all :D

  • beautifull.

oy vey...but maad at the dude for laughing at the drunk girl.

How can parents still not take this seriously even when it's portrayed like this?

  • me and a group of people from my youth group entererd a drama contest for my church distric and are in the finals so uh well here are some things to be better on,hand waveing was pretty bad kinda like a bad wave dance, lust needs to be more aggrisive towards jesus remember he is blocking jesus the whole time, and jesus needs to be trying to get her attention the whole time like waveing trying to get around lust so she can see him but it was over all good

  • This is how you start to spread the word....

  • Very good

  • I love this skit! My churches youth group did it last December and it brought me near to tears. Every time I watch it it does that! And I rarely cry, but this really has power in it!

  • it was a very good skit somethings could of been done better but it was very powerful... my only suggestion is learn the names of the 7 deadly sins they are all there

  • Hi, guys thank you so much for the reminder. It inspires my friends and I and we even adapted it during one celebration night. Thank God, the result was awesome and powerful. An interesting way to reachout youth yah..

    Yay! Great job!

  • Of the major christian skits being done right now this is the best one. I work with youth as a Youth Group staff member and I can say that this is the best example of reality. Youth College age and High School kids have so much to fight but with God we see that helping hand

  • This is propably the best drama I've ever seen... That "cause you're all I need..." part, when she throws the gun away, it is so powerful scene, and it always makes me cry!

  • The only thing I really didn't like was the fighting part, it looked faked (obviously). In ours, we're actually getting physical in it and I believe it looks so much more convincing. Other than that, very good job, Thank you and God Bless

  • This is a very awesome skit, and I thank you for posting this video because it's helping me in my research and choreography of my church's version. I liked some this a lot here. The fact that Jesus and the main girl were in white, contrasting the "temptations" (I also liked the entrance of the lust character (my role) how he physically broke the connection.

  • Excellent work! I love your ending - I think it's much better than just walking away...

  • this is so powerful. its great to be reminded how much God is working in our lives. thank you.

  • hey y'all!! GREAT job!!! i think you'd like my friends version of this.... type in "everything skit (speedie fest)" the skit was performed at a secular festival in new york and over 2,000 people saw it!!!

  • really neat idea! )

  • I cry everytime i watch this video its so emotional, and true. We all face these temptations and this shows that God will forgive us! yall did amazing!

  • i have seen other versions, and this drama play has touched me very much...the thing that i like the best about your play is the "going back to Jesus" scene-that was really well done. The best I have seen! The way others were pulling, and how hard it was for you to get back to Him, is very well done, and it represent real life. It is not easy at all! Good job and continue to do this! God bless you!

  • Wow. Abel did a really good job when he had to move in and protect her from the sins. i have seen many different versions of this video and hes the best Jesus/God i have seen.

  • Excellent performance! You must've been quite nervous. =D But you played a mean drunk. ;) lol

I like the versions where the "sins" move in a catlike way...really slowly. I don't know, it's more menacing that way. But other than that, it was great! I won't be picky...^^

  • You played a mean drunk! xD

I love the video description of how to make your own skit. That's a big help!

  • i have seen this SOOO many times i mean its good video but i wish sum1 would do there own version

  • Hey! Great skit! I'm doing this (very!) soon as 'money'. I'm a girl (16) and don't have anything like the people in the other vids were wearing. Does anybody have any ideas? Should I go with the business man(woman) type thing this skit has? Thanks!

  • if you're doing this skit for adults, the business woman might be a good idea, but if you're doing these to teens, it will be better to go with something that relates to them. just just fashionable/srylish, but what teens do with money is buy clothes, typically...

  • I saw this at my church. It made me cry. How much life is an how much we need god. And how much he is to us. And how people that do things to us our gods plans. if god wants it to happen.. so be it! :]

  • Absolutely amazing!!!! I Love how near the end Jesus our Lord saviour protects her from the sins. It Just hits me personaly because we have all faced those sins. Our God is a Awesome GOD!!!!!

  • Awesome!!

  • Que bonito :) .. en cualquier version este mensaje me hace llorar . Felicidades y Bendiciones :)

  • out of curiosity how old are you guys? cuz it's very well done and i just want to hear what kind of experience you all have.

i love the general darkness in the demon costumes without them all being black. i think the beauty girl could have been a bit more obvious.

    attacking much improved!

    love!

  • thanks! ages are between 17 and 21...most of the actors are 18. as for experience, a couple of us had acting experience at school, but all the rest was just occasional church plays...

actually, we completely didn't plan that all the "demons" would wear dark colors. i just told everyone to dress in character, and that's what happened! i'm the drunk girl, the only one not in black, but i was actually just filling in because the girl who was supposed to do it was late.

    anyway, thanks again! :)

  • i love this skit...i was wondering if you have any ideas on how i could replace the cutting scene for an age apropriate (5th and 6th grade)...we will be doing this skit up at a camp in Alaska this summer as a part of Scottsdale Bible Church's high school summer missions...If you have any ideas i would appricate any help you have...most of the kids come from rough backrounds...

    In Christ

  • Hmmm...well, most 5th and 6th graders haven't even heard of bulemia or cutting, so that would be a little weird..and most aren't into the opposite sex yet, so even the dancing part would be a bit strange. With rough backgrounds, the alcohol part would definitely be good, though. Just try to think of what kids that age go through, and add those things into the skit. Bullying is definitely an important one...making fun of others.

  • oh, kids that age also struggle a lot with trying to fit in, find friends, look good so that they fit in, etc. that's when they begin discovering who they are, and you want to make sure that as they do that, they discover that they are IN CHRIST - that's who they are. nothing else really matters, like looking cool, having money, etc.

i dunno if that helps you with the skit, but that's what i thought about... hope it goes well!! :)

  • oh no it helps alot. Thanks much. We are going to do some explaining as far as dancing with Jesus. We were thinking along the lines of cigaretts and beer, bullying, money and the i feel as though the beauty girl would go as far as fitting in and such...anyways thanks alot.

  • you would be serprised how a lot of young kids know more about sex and drinking,, stealing doc drugs than u think it not just in high school

  • yes, i know...it's really sad. but it depends a lot on the area you live in, as well.

  • yeah... kinda..

  • Yes, this is very true. I came from a school with drugs and alcohol. About half of the girls in my SEVENTH GRADE classes were virgins. It was very sad. Many of their lives were seriously hurt because of these things, but I know a few who came to Jesus. Strange how your life can completely turn around once you let him save you. :)

  • :-) You guys really did improve! Lots of passion! Love it!

One question...just curious...any reason why you didn't have Jesus die on the cross like the original did? In the original right when the girl has the gun up to her head, you see Jesus off to the left open his arms and die. It's hard to see on the original since the camera is focused on the girl, but I think it's really a crucial part to the whole concept. Just wondering if there was a reason you guys didn't include it. :-)

  • Oh! I've never noticed that part before (I just went back to see it because you mentioned it). Hmm...that's an interesting idea. It's really hard to notice, though, especially because everyone in the audience (if it's their first time seeing it) will be focusing on the main girl, not on Jesus, at that part. But thanks for pointing it out! I'll tell my drama group about it and we'll see if we wanna add it in. :)

  • this is really good ..

    looked amazing (:

    love it ..

    :D

  • I love it better than the other one

  • Evertime i see this skit it brings tears to my eyes!! God is such a forgiving God!!!

  • still gives me goosebumps :]

im so happy i was apart of that at sep

  • Where is LightHouse located? By the Way I LOVE THIS DRAMA I GET CHILLS EVERY TIME I WATCH IT! God has done so much for me.

  • I'm glad you like it and that God's working in your life! :)

I believe that Lifehouse is from Agoura Hills, CA.

  • Lifehouse is actually the name of the band who sings that song, mabye its also the Church as well

  • oh, sorry for the confusion. Lifehouse is just the name of the band. the church we performed it at is actually just called the LA church...in Los Angeles. :)
