@mikeyskywalker well this video is an old stereo with a turntable that runs fast recorded through a digital camera that is over six years old and it still sounds pretty good. Imagine what it'll sound like on a new turntable with (presumably) vinyl records that should be in great shape from not being used (unless they were stored horribly)

Actually I wouldn't have put it past him to be able to do it on some nights during his prime. There are a few videos somewhere on youtube where they edited together some bootlegs to show various (very) high notes that he hit and I'm pretty sure they were higher than his highest note here.
