  • I love all these stupid people saying

"OMG BUY JEWELLERY OR IT'S GONNA GET INFECTED" or "IT'S BAD FOR YOUR EARS"

People, seriously, it's not that bad. If you use things that can be sterilized, it's not going to get infected, and if it's smooth, it won't damage your ears. So shut the fuck up.

Plus, if your ears are healed, they aren't going to get infected unless you're dumb and stretch to much and you tear it open.

    Some people's fucking kids.

  • Is you dumb?

  • Ma friend uses lil chrismas light bulbs, he Uses em as plugs ;o

  • household items for your ears are not the materials that should be used for your ears ...

  • Anyone know some good household objects to use as a 10g ? I'm 14 right now and i'm gonna stop at 6.

  • 9/11 :O

  • It worries me that so many people are calling them GAUGES.

  • @ASkylitDayToRem3mber many things about todays youth worries me :s

  • haha that doesnt help what am i suppose to use for 1 1/4?

  • the barrings ar 00 cause i have a 0 and ive been here for an hour trying to get it in

  • @kaykayyish Well then, stop being such a brat about it and wait until you leave home to start on your lobes. If you really want them so bad, it'll be worth the wait - It's not worth upsetting your parents over though.

  • Try using markers, pens, pensils to make them.

  • white plastic spools of thread cut in half, there is 7/16" and 1/2", and thick crayola marker caps for 1/2" i used both of those for the longest time, but now im at 5/8, and out of things to use )=

  • @3vansmus1c Haha ya, i'd just get some real ones.Is your name evan?

  • @3vansmus1c Chapstick Caps

  • I hqve the inside of a bearing in my ear now, but i have no clue what size that is... What size is the inside of a bearing?!

  • Oh jesus... this could be the worst shit for your ears. :< Use real jewelry and if you can't afford it, you shouldn't be stretching your ears.

  • lol i used the inside steel tunnel thingy from a skateboard that goes between the bearings....i just put small layer of tape on it just in case

  • grat message i couldnt see shit

  • What can I use for 9/16" do you know?

  • Hey dummy it's an earplug not a gauge

  • @awesomefreakkid10 merr..actually earplug doesnt make sense either.that refers to the foam piece that blocks sound from your ears....correct terminology would be plug,flesh/flood tunnels, etc but i decided to use "gauges" because thats more commonly used even though its technically incorrect.

  • i went from a regular earpiercing to a little bigger than a toothpick......is that bad?

  • @AnTHoNyB1125 no thats not bad.

  • im at 8 wanting to go to 6, what should i use?

  • @jkilson buy a 6G Taper at hottopic or spencers.

  • @runeman100 well now im at a 0 going to 00 lol, but thanks for the reply!

  • @jkilson haha sorry i have a lack of internet.btw use cocoa butter to stretch.its virtually painless. ;p

  • @runeman100 I just went to 00 bout an hour ago using tapers, no pain at all, didnt even need to force it in, slid in like butter :D i use vitamin E oil for lube. and i also bought a pair of plugs that are 00 but are alil bigger than what i have in right now..my ear gets stuck on the o-ring slot cut in em and cant push em any farther in and it hurt like hell to pull it out lol, so im gonna wait a week or so before i try to put those in a again O_O

  • @jkilson when you get out of a hot shower and using the oil is best strategy for stretching or putting in new jewelry.when you get out of shower like cover your lobe with oil front, back, and inside and massage it while you try to maneuver the ring in.

  • ear gauges? that makes perfect sense ... idiot

  • What can i use for a size 4?

  • @MrJacobNWalker really id suggest buying some real ones.

  • What are those at 0:26

  • @lilboibluej2 those are the inside of a skateboard bearing./

  • chapstick cap - 1/2 inch..... perfume bottle cap - 3/4ths inch.

  • i wouldnt shove random shit in your ears. just quti being cheap and buy plugs. or use teflon fittings from hardware stores. but never use any metal other than surgial steel. and chapstick lids are about 5/8

  • OR instead of being a cheap bastard, go out and buy sanitary, normal looking gauges and plugs....

  • Please for the LOVE of god don't use random shit you have lying around your house for plugs, If you can't afford plugs how the fuck do you plan on paying for Jojoba oil and stuff to keep your lobes happy? SS and Pyrex are not that expensive. Invest in some QUALITY stuff, You're better off in the long run.

  • what could be a 0g?

  • @heitzelalvarenga a straw from Dunkin Donuts.

  • what could be a 6g?

  • this guy is so inaccurite in gauge sizes deffinetly off..

  • What exactly would be a 4g :o

  • lol skateboard bearings aren't an inch, they were REEAALLYY loose when i was at 22mm

  • sorry the actual size is 13/16 (almost 7/8)

  • bearings are def not 0's

    their a lil bigger

  • actual size: 7.5/16. sorry

  • @runeman100 wait u can use bearings? cuz if so i got some skate bearings that im missing 1 so i only got 3 lol

  • i got a question what size are the chapstik lids

  • chapstick lids?time is that? i didnt show any chapstick lids.

  • yes i know u didint show any chapstick lids i was just asking what size do u think they are but i guess u dont know

  • the one i hae is approx. 5/8.but other lids may be dipperent.

  • @runeman100 ORIGHT THANKS YEAH IM THAT SIZE JUST WONDERING THANKS

  • Ok then what could i use as a

    16g?

  • you could use paperclips.thats what i used to do.you can also cut them with wire clippers.

  • a paperclip is fine for 18g-14g depending on what paperclip u use.they come in diferent sizes.

  • what could be used as a 18g??

  • you don't wear 18g, just go straight to 16g.

  • you might as well go to 16(its only a small fraction of a MM bigger.u can use a paperclip.

  • fyi, gauge means "size". gauges = sizes, not plugs. sorry, but this drives me crazy. every piece of jewellery has a gauge, regardless of how small or big it is. so saying "i have gauges" or "gauging my ears" just sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. I know a lot of people say it, but that just means a lot of people don't know what they're talking about.

  • ya,i know what gauge means..thats how i KNOW what size they are by comparing them to "plugs" but i, and most other people i know prefer to call them gauges.

  • Well you're not using the right terminology, which bugs people like me and brqk3n.
