true ur getting 41 fps now but when the next crysis comes out that will struggle to even be 30.

with sony consoles, they have a life of 10 years and keep producing games and beat PC in some cases.

for example the best racing sim is on PS3, GT5 and im sure you already know about MGS4.

theres also a ton of first party games coming out.

just check out the graphics of uncharted 2, their a hair away from crysis' graphics.

Ps3 clearly has a better price to quality ratio.

btw id like to see a PC processor with 7 cores running at 3.2 GHZ. (hence KZ2 having better physics, AI and hit response then crysis)

oh yh i forgot.....PC's need a ton of RAM since M$ shitty OS's eat all the system resources.

as for the HDD, PS3 also uses SATA HDD's just like PC's.

i guarantee you'll need to upgrade ur 9800GTX after a year to play games on highest detail.....which dont look that much better then console versions anyway because most users ditch AA for a solid frame rate.

even if console GPU's are old it doesnt matter because the developers will make games for them.

your GPU wont be able to handle games that come out after a year on max detail because PC devs are bitches and only offer max details to the best GPU's.

athlons suck, mine always used to freeze when i was a PC gamer.

and with a 9800GTX you cant get 30fps on crysis maxed out unless its SLI.

never the less, PC will still lack good exclusives and M$ are gay.

if u spend less on a GPU your gonna have to upgrade more times then if u spend a lot on one.

either way its more expensive and u dont get exclusives as good as PS3.

Why do you care? In the long run, a computer is a WAY better investment. My ps3 is fun for all the games that haven't made it to PC but my PC allows me to type papers for school, check my email, talk to friends, you get the point. Investing in a computer has nothing to do with being rich, it what you'd do too if you were smart :-) That's just my .02

i would define it as someone who plays games for fun as well as competition and achievements to master their 'favourite titles'.

despite not having a xbox 360 i still think im a true gamer just like many other people in the world.

theres literally endless amount of fun i can get from playing PSP and PS3 exclusives.

now that PS3 has better titles people cant even say "PS3 has no games".

im a flight simmer, so thats the main reason that i have a gaming rig. but i also enjoy c&c (im aware its available on other consoles but it is best on pc.)

i find there are more hacks and mods for pc games witch makes gaming a hella lot more fun

Yes i got the coolermaster 650watt. Hmmm It may be my GPU. That's the next biggest fan. I'm using the stock CPU cooler.

Scythe makes really quiet coolers. Anything is better than stock coolers. What's really nice is the ones where you can just attach a 120mm (hopefully a quiet one) fans on the heatsink, but it does take up space; that's what I'm using - COOLER MASTER GeminII. The thing is huge though - there's no way to install it without removing mobo - and you have to buy 120mm fans separately. It was worth it though... it's quiet + cools soo much.

just a hint. if u want to show people what a pc graphics card can do, download Fraps. Fraps will record the game while ur playing it. and its free. i've got the nvidia 9800gtx and cant stand console graphics

The only REAL advantage that a console has over a PC is the conviniece. I can pop a CD in and not worry about upgrading. But I wish I had that wheel AND that LCD. Nice setup.

Um, that's great. I don't even know why people are bringing up consoles... But ok. What can consoles do what PC can't? Consoles are basically a "limited" PC. PC can do more stuff than just play games. There's better games for me on the PC too. It's also more convenient to play games and load faster. And keyboard/mouse is better for FPS and I can use gamepads too... there's just more freedom with PC. Xbox fanboy.

well,I can play with a PS3 and your same LCD, isn't it? I have bought an Hannsg HG216DP with an HDMI input and the combination is very good. You've not to take in consideration the monitor or the LCD, I was only speaking about the difference of the PS3 and this PC
